Rocket Languages review criteria
The stucture and content are both excellent. There is a great blend of instruction, practice, and review. So far, I like this much better than Babbel, though I will need to see how the conversation practice works longterm. Overall, super pleased so far!

So far the pace is overwhelming. I think I would retain more if the lessons were cut in half. Half the time with half the amount of new words. I am also finding some bad issues with the voice recognition. I'm considering going to something lower paced. I don't care if it takes me longer to finish a course. I'm not retaining enough at the pace.

I am currently enrolled in college and I'm a Spanish major.... I have learned more from this website than I have at a year of being in school.

I just started this course yesterday. So far I like it. It's nice to hear a playback of how I actually sound when repeating words in Spanish.

I tried the intro lesson, and it wasn't enjoyable. When practicing pronunciation, I would fail to pronounce a word, but I would get 100%. I have a good microphone, but I had to yell to get half of what was said recorded. When it did show, I said 100% the playback would only have recorded 50% of what I said. I was yelling most of the time, which was really irritating. I practiced writing skills without knowing special characters, so I got most of the words wrong, although I had all the necessary letters.
I absolutely hated yelling into the microphone and then hearing a partial version of what I had yelled. So far, I hate Rocket Spanish. I completed the lessons, and if not for the fact that I had heard many of the basic words in the past, I would not have remembered most of what I learned. Thankfully, I am on a trial. Thank you, Rocket, for the trial period. I will continue the trial one more time and then give Babbel a try, trusting their money-back guarantee..

tatarI like it so far, I have taken the entire Babble course, I am starting from the beginning, even though I am at beggining advanced level, just to review and practice for the advanced level. So, far this is a good course and I like the format, it seems promising so far, but really any course is good as long as you do it everdy day. We have a summer house in Mexico near Guadalajara, want to achieve more of an advanced level of fluency.

It is a very good website but the prices are way too high and this website should be free instead of people paying to learn
