What does this mean?

Literally 'tunnels'. In the context of Unit 2.6 Directions it's rather 'underground', meaning a metro system going under street level.

Question on lesson 3.2

In lesson 3.2 the phrase   ثانية   وحدة  is used. The ث is pronounced with a s sound as in snake.  Is this unique to the dialect as I thought it made a th sound as in thing. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks, Ryan

Arabic conversation

A lot of children's videos in Arabic are done in fuS7a (Modern Standard Arabic) and it's formal pronunciation. The sound of fuS7a is very stiff compared to what you hear as Egyptian Arabic dialect being spoken.

kinda random

Also, if you are writing in Romanization letters instead of Arabic lettering, the words can be spelled in different ways because it is just an interpretation of the Arabic phonetics.
