the n sound at the end of some words

Why do some words, such as Shukran and Ahlan, end with an Alef, but sound as if they have an "n" at the end?

B not pronouced in the begin

hy guys now I m doing the https://members.rocketlanguages.com/members/arabic/lessons/706/1-2-survival-phrases and I noticed that the letter "b" in the begin of "betkalem" isnt pronounced. is that right or am i listening it wrongly? could you please review it for me? merci gedan

automatic allowing the red button 'repeat'

At this moment I'm not yet able to allow directly the use of the red button 'repeat' without giving any time the authorisation. Could you please tell me which is the website I should indicate as an exception inside the allowing menu? Thanks a lot Corrado

Saying hello

Okay so in the first part, this program teaches you that saying hello is "ahlan wa sahlan". However later on it says it means welcome, and to say hello you say "ahlan". I know a native arabic speaker and he says you just say "ahlan" to say hello. Can anyone explain why they teach you to say...
