Rocket Languages review criteria
Good and well-functioning course. I appreciate the simple and at your pace lessons. It goes in detail for each phrase. As usual you should still pair online courses wit book courses, actual conversation with native speakers and of course media. All in all this is a grand and intoxicating course. Recommended.

I've tried a lot of different language learning resources over the years and Rocket Italian is one of the most engaging I've used. The lessons are well structured, practical, and keep me motivated. I especially like the combination of audio, culture, grammar and speaking practice, which makes learning feel more natural than just memorising vocabulary and verb drills.
One of the biggest selling points for me is the lifetime membership. I much prefer paying once than subscribing indefinitely, and Rocket Italian offers excellent value for money. If you're looking for a comprehensive Italian course that you can own outright, it's a fantastic investment. Highly recommended.

Up to now I'm very satisfied.
I'm not sure yet, if I will be able to return to previous parts of the lessons if I'll continue.
But I'll see into the next lesson.

Great to hear, Mary! No problem at all; you can revisit previous lessons anytime, so you can learn at your own pace and review whenever you need to.
This course is easy to follow and it very understandable. I am able to learn French fast and speak fluently more that I could have imagined!

On the introduction module practice, questions contains word which we did not learn. Is there are reason for this kind of flow.

Overall a good language app, but has several issues. On the Italian lessons, the main instructor is not a native speaker, and although the pronunciation is close, it detracts from hearing the language as it should sound. Native speakers are always best so the student can get an ear for the language properly. On the test portions, words which do not denote gender in English are not annotated, which leaves one guessing which one it wants you to say. The microphone portion is inconsistent, even when the word is pronounced properly, or fails to detect speech at all. If these issues were improved this language app would be a much better product.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback, Violet. Our team is currently working on updating the Rocket Italian audio so that both parts are spoken by native speakers. In the meantime, you can also check out the Role Playing activities to hear the full dialogue spoken by native speakers. The gender and formality indicators can be found in the top-right corner of flashcards and the bottom-right corner of other testing activities, just hover over the notation to see more information. As for the microphone issue, please get in touch with our support team (support@rocketlanguages.com), and we'd be happy to take a closer look.

There isn't a great way to review individual pieces of vocabulary (e.g. learn all the conjugations of 'aller'), and there is something of a sticker shock, but the course is generally quite good. I intend to buy the next two pieces once I have completed this one.
