I am currently learning Italian. I didn't hold on to the beautiful language growing up and have to start from fresh. But Rocket Langauge is so user friendly and makes for a great learning experience. I will be able to speak the language of my familia in no time.

I have been using Rocket Italian for approximately 2 weeks now, i have used Pimsleur, the problem with Pimsleur is that they don't explain what you are learning, Rocket Italian explains as you go, every session is concise and clear, and the most important thing is that I'm learning.

Thus far this course is more than expected. the introduction to every lesson is quite helpful. If all goes well with level 1 and 2 level three is looking realistic. Finally, I need to communicate with my cousin in Calabria much better. Thanks

I like the way review is spiraled into several lessons, so the words really stick. I also like the multimodal practice with each lesson. I expected to have some difficulty picking up Italian after many years of not practicing any language except English, but I'm learning more quickly and remembering more thorougly than I thought I would. Tutto bravo!

I'm from Italy, born into a family that speaks Italian. My family raised me to speak English, and so I've never learned Italian. I've always been interested in my ancestry and wanted to learn more. Though my English isn't the best, and I know a lot of Italian, this site really helps me learn more of the language. I recommend it to anyone with the desire to learn the Italian language.

Terrible experience with the Rocket Languages. I have been struggling to find a motivation to keep studying but the boring experience that the platform gives you doesn't lead you anywhere. It's just a bunch of "repeat" this, "repeat "that" that you will be closing the browser before finishing the audio lesson. Not only that, the lack of explanation that the teachers give you and makes you need to find other places to learn it's absurd. If I knew this experience would go on, I would have chosen Google Translator instead. If I could come back, I wouldn't buy.

Rocket languages has really helped me a lot, I got to learn how to speak Italian within a week by the time I went there on holiday I found it easy to interact with Italian people and my friends and they were impressed! I would also encourage individuals to join this site , its not just an everyday class you attend, you have fun doing it too. ciao!

I wanted to learn how to speak Italian because I was tired of listening to my wife and her family and not knowing exactly what they were saying. Of course they would always tell me what they had said but I always wanted to experience it first hand. I first ordered rosetta stone Italian but I wasn't pleased with their teaching method and returned immediately. I went on You tube to find reviews on a good italian program and came across a review for rocket Italian. The person who gave the review took into account a few courses but praised the rocket program over all of the ones mentioned. I then decided to order on the spot. I have not had the program for a week and have impressed my wife on how well I can read the conversation transcripts. I decided to read (in Italiano) to my father-in-law, who grew up in Italy, and he was extremely impressed with my pronounciation. THIS IS ONLY AFTER ONE WEEK!!! I try to practice every day and have my wife speak to me in italian to keep me sharp. I want to thank Rocket Languages for this opportunity to learn and reach my goal that I have set for myself. I have tried them all (Rosetta, Pimsleur, Duolingo) and I must admit that this program does the best job of teaching Italian. The reason is simple -- repetition. As a former teacher, I believe in repetition. Too many programs give you a lesson but do not reinforce it. Rocket does. Another plus is the response to my feedback. If I have a problem, I get a response within a day (two at most). Most programs don't bother to respond at all. Another plus is the detailed lesson given at the beginning of the section. If you really want to learn the "ins" and "outs" of the language, the explanations are there for you. All you have to do is read and absorb. Some programs (I won't mention names) never bother to explain anything; they just expect you to learn on your own. If you wonder why I have only given 4 stars for would I buy again, it is because I am not that young and don't think I'll be trying another language. If I do, it will be Rocket. Oh, one more plus -- the one-time price. Yea!

Like it so far :) Can go at my own pace and isn't overwhelming
