Out of all the courses I've used, I've easily learned the most from this one.

Some of the other resources I've used have been heavily focused on trial and error, and they leave you with only a vague understanding of the language. They'll pair a sound with some pictures or a rough translation of what the words mean and you're supposed to just repeat the sounds and hope that you kind of understand them. This may work especially well for romance languages if you're coming to it as an English-speaker, but not for something as far-removed from English as Japanese.

This course does something I haven't seen any other course do, and it explains exactly why sentences are structured the way they are. This makes it much easier to learn the language because it gives you room to experiment with the words you're learning. Just knowing how particles work and how sentences are usually structured makes a big difference in how much information I end up retaining, because I'll actually know how to use a word I'm learning in a sentence.

This is a great course, and I highly recommend it even if it's not your first, but especially if it is.

Rocket Japanese is the best way to learn language! English isn't my native language, but I can easily understand Kenny and Sayaka. This is really important, 'cause Rocket Japanese like a game for me. I learn English and Japanese at the same time. Thank you so much! I'm really happy now and I believe that my dream about Japanese come true.

Rocket German is the finest program for learning how to speak a language. With constant practice and repetition you find that you are making real progress toward speak convincingly.
I have found no other program on the Internet that is so effective in its methods.

I am very determined to speak Japanese fluently with Rocket Language methodology and am well on my way. The set up is incredibly user friendly and well constructed to give you the optimum ability to learn a foreign language very easily. During the six day free trial, I have been extremely impressed with the user interface as well as the teaching techniques offered by Rocket Japanese Premium. The sections are well-written and the audio is very clear and concise. I absolutely love the fact that I can speak Japanese and review my pronunciation immediately. Five stars all around for an amazing e-learning tool for learning Japanese.

I started about 4 days ago and have put in about 15-20 hours studying because it is so much fun. I have not felt bored or overwhelmed at all even when faced with the thousands of kanji to remember. I love the pace the audio lessons setup to begin with. Although, the third lesson in particular was tough to keep up with but it seems to just be an editing mistake not leaving enough time to repeat the phrases. I have had an amazing experience and have learned so much so far. I even found myself waking up this morning to repeating Japanese phrases as soon as I opened my eyes. It is very refreshing to enjoy learning something new after having been out of school for a few years. My goal with this knowledge is to supplement my chemistry degree and get into an international company working with Japanese businesses.

I've been looking for learning programs for months now, and Rocket Languages has been the easiest to use and learn from. I was able to speak and understand words and phrases almost immediately. Unlike other programs, this one has actually made it easy to learn to also read and write in the target language. I can't recommend this program strongly enough.

Rocket languages really gave me the tools to succeed with my new language. It brought me to a level where I was finally comfortable speaking with native speakers and I was able to take off on my own after that. I researched several programs before deciding on Rocket Japanese. After only a week I can have basic conversations and understand bits of conversations. I'm very excited to see where I am in a month. So far this has been a great experience and has really helped my understanding of the language.

At first I thought that Rocket Japanese was a great course. However, I became very disappointed with the way they structure things. The conversations are very limited and the grammar is poorly explained. Japanese is a very structured and logical language and Rocket Japanese does a poor job of conveying the structure. I am overall very disappointed with the course.

I bought the entire Japanese course, yet Rocket continues to send me marketing and promotional emails telling me to buy their japanese course when I already have.
