I started a month ago. I had a base knowledge from Spanish 1, 25 years ago in high school. I have wanted to learn the language and recently got a job with half of my clients from Mexico. After a month of an hour a day, I am able to take care of Spanish speaking clients with what I have built up. I really find the Rocket experience to be exceptional. Starting with the 20 minute conversation/breakdown and the audio bits of saying it back is tremendous. I am currently struggling with lesson 1.10 (which I believe is a turning point). I do believe there is a gigantic jump from everything to this particular lesson. It would be my only knock up to this point as I feel like I missed a sentence structure lesson. That being said I will keep at it. My studies have paid off thus far and can not wait to continue my journey.

Rocket Spanish is a program that you have to be able to dedicate your time to. If you are not dedicated toward going through the material you will not learn like you should. If you are willing to put in the time you will get there. You can not just listen to a lesson each day. You need to learn the lesson you have that day and then you are done for the day. The material is solid but the will power to cover the material has to be there. Long story short, you will get what you put in.

Rocket Record is a great way for me to practice my pronunciation. Since I am more of an "understand it to learn it" type learner, I supplement Rocket Spanish with other sources of grammar, but those sources don't afford me the opportunity to listen-repeat-evaluate that Rocket Record does.

I have tried other apps, this works the best for me. I really like the download/offline mode so I can practise without the internet. I am making good progress. Feliz aprendiendo, gracais.

The format is very impressive. I have no trouble understanding the course. This makes learning easier and enjoyable. I look forward to my daily lessons .

Here is what I find different about Rocket Languages, the focus is on learning to SPEAK Spanish. The other programs I’ve used focused on written language. I love that the narrators speak slowly enough so I can understand the words and so I can learn to pronounce the words correctly. The lessons make sense and have real world applications. For me, this is far and away the best Spanish program I have used. I already feel more confident speaking Spanish and I find the correct words come to mind faster. I try to do one lesson a day. The lessons take about an hour. You dont have to do that much, but I really want to learn to speak the language so I am committed to spending the time necessary.
I did call customer service once because I could not get the playback to work. The person who helped me could not have been more attentive to my needs. She told me exactly what to do to fix the problem.
All in all, this is the only Spanish program I would recommend. I do think Duolingo is good for beginners who want to find out if they are committed to learning a language, however once you know you want to learn, then switch over to Rocket Languages. I hope you will be as happy as I am about the program.

This is a great course. I would recommend it to anyone desiring to learn Spanish. I really like the interactive conversation, which I can participate in. Also, hearing my own voice is Spanish helps me to improve upon my Spanish clarity. The test at the end of the lessons enforce your knowledge.

This has been a good start to my Spanish pursuits. The material is easy to follow and helpful. I will have the big test when I travel to Ecuador in October but as of now I've been able t ocarry on conversations fairly well when the opportunity arrives in town.

The course is easy to follow.

Explaining the meanings and the pronunciations of the words were very beneficial to me as a non-Spanish speaker.
