Rocket Spanish Reviews

So far I have to give your course an overall grade of "A". I am getting some good experience. Even though sometimes I stray away from Rocket Spanish in order to get real time speaking experience, I always come back to Rocket Spanish. What I like best about Rocket Spanish is the speaking exercises in the testing portion of this course. I also like the way the course is presented to you with Mauricio, Amy and Carmen. Right now I am taking the intermediate level course, looking forward to the advanced course.

I'm enjoying the process very much... Great course! I especially love the recording feature, it is very helpful in getting pronunciation really "tight" and natural-sounding. I do recommend Spanish Rocket for those who are earnest and passionate about speaking Spanish.

A good way to learn Spanish, I definitely think I am improving. It is nice that I could test out on some lessons that I already knew. I like to listen to the conversations on my phone while I am at the gym doing boring cardio workouts.

Rocket Spanish is really easy to access and fun makes it fun to learn Spanish! Before, I had thought that CD's would be the best way to learn, but now I am convinced that online instruction is just as good, probably better. You don't have to be worried about physical CD's -- just access to a computer.

I've been using Rocket languages for about a year now, and am very satisfied.

The points system is a great motivator. (Let's be honest, we're all a bit competitive).

The "hear it, say it" functions really let's you test yourself and I think recently added "write it" completes it as a language course.

There has been some spelling mistakes throughout the course, but customer service listens and fixes anything brought to their attention.

I recently put the course (or my abilities) to the ultimate test, by traveling to a couple french speaking regions, and I surprised myself at how well it went.

Kudos to the developers of rocketfrench.

Very easy and fun to use and this is actually making learning a language enjoyable! I even have my 9 year old son learning with me so we can practice together. I also like that I can go back to previous lessons to keep reviewing them.

Something like "Doctor Mauricio" being part of the review for a lesson is really dumb. That is not a difficult thing to learn. And in the video/audio at the start of the lesson, why not go over estoy de vacaciones a little more. Like how to pronounce the word. That has been the hardest and longest word that has not been broken down in all of the lessons so far. I wasn't reading along and I had no idea there was a 'de' in the sentence.

Enjoyable.
Balanced speak/hear/read/write (tilted toward speak/hear).
Good interface.
Feels like a complete tool: I think I can learn to speak Spanish quite well using Rocket without other resources (except, of course, Spanish-speaking friends to talk to.)
The speaking feedback needs work: usually too loose (terrible pronunciation gets 100%) with a few phrases, especially ones with numbers, almost impossible to get 100% every time they come up.

(There is no N/A choice on the above ratings; I have no experience with customer service so I would choose N/A if I could)

I love the website with so many options to learn from....survival kit, games, etc. The Beginners Book is incredable! If you can't learn from this program, it's your own fault. I didn't rate customer service because I haven't needed it.
