I recently became frustrated with the slow pace of another online Spanish language program and started poking around the I'net for reviews and commentary. Rocket Spanish really stood out from the crowd. I signed on for a trial run and Immediately "took off". In place of beautiful graphics and endless repetition of very limited vocabulary, with little grammatical assistance, I found intensive drills and dialogs with careful explanation of Spanish's many puzzling (for English users) distinctions in usage.
I especially appreciate the chance to keep hammering away at a troublesome phrase in "Hear It/Say It" and "Know It" until I can duplicate the speaker's pronunciation, although there are a few odd words, like "Ah" and Mauricio's last name (Evlampieff) that never seem to get interpreted quite right. Subtle little touches, like the running point totals, help provide a more or less continuous push to keep working at it.
I am more than pleased with my progress thus far and hope to follow the course through to its concluseion.

Great product and no other program can touch the price. The Learning modules are very practical and contain just the right amount of materiel to grasp in a day or two. The Rocket Spanish app is great for traveling or studying on the go.
The entire process has been a breeze... start to finish. I recently purchased another program from the competition, but quickly returned it after realizing it's many faults. Rocket is highly intuitive for the user, and honestly, much less intimidating. I hope to have my entire staff using the software soon.
i seem to be getting addicted to this tool. to an extent where i could comfortably spend hours at a stretch with no complain. going back to the lesson completed is again a new experience and listening to the audios do help in recapturing certain pronunciations which was missed earlier. loving every moment. don't even miss watching TV.
Solid program that keeps you on track to learning a new language, or improving on one you already are familiar with. Easy, daily bites of the language are essential. I especially the like "competitive" nature of the POINTS system, where you can monitor progress against others.
I've recently began Level 2, all lessons good on Level 1, but I'd like to express appreciation for Lesson 9.9 , Level 2 in particular.
I've struggled with the irregular preterites for some months. Your tables showing the regularity in these irregularities is most helpful and I'm seeing patterns I'd not seen before.
Thanks Rocket Spanish.

I love learning new languages! I can speak conversational German and, to a lesser extent, Croatian.
Recently I was inspired to learn Spanish by a friend and so I spent hours and hours poring over reviews of the various online language learning options. There were so many options out there but nothing really felt like it was "the one" until I came across Rocket Spanish! Now, some people are happy with simply learning how to speak a language by only learning phrases but I'm one of those who really need to understand the grammar behind the phrases and sentences. So, when I came across Rocket Spanish, I was extremely excited to see that, not only will I get to learn to speak the language like a native speaker and in a way that suits my learning style (Visual) but also that the course is packed with quality lessons in grammar.
What really impresses me about Rocket Spanish is the emphasis on repeating words or phrases out loud (not just in my head). This is such an important factor in accelerating one's fluency in a non-native language. After all, if you want to speak a new language, then you really do need to speak it out loud! I only wish that I had come across Rocket when I learned German and Croatian! It would most certainly have saved me countless hours and dollars wasted on ineffective methods.
Good for picking up conversation skills. Lessons build well on each other and great focus on practicing speaking. I do wish there was a greater variety in terms of the types of exercises to complete. Also more review type exercises would be nice.
I researched quite a bit before purchasing the entire Rocket Languages Spanish Program, and the free trial cinched the deal for me.
Like any program that relies heavily on voice recognition, it has its difficulties with certain sounds, but I'm learning the idiosyncrasies, and there are easy workarounds. I did purchase a decent headset to work with, and that is helping a lot.
I'm not entirely new to Spanish. I've been playing around with some free programs for about a year, but even at my basic level, I was outgrowing their usefulness. I was able to start Rocket Languages at Premium Plus Level 2, and it's a good starting place for me.
I'm really look forward to my daily lessons and practice, and--in just a few short days--I'm already noticing improvement.
The lessons are good, but I'm finding the speaking exercises very frustrating. The voice recognition does not work very well. The exercises require repeating over and over because the voice recognition is so poor. I'm not saying my pronunciation is great or anything, but it isn't as bad as the software shows. It slows down the lesson and makes it a drag.
