I have tried before many different softwares for learning Spanish and unfortunately I found them quite boring and not very effective. I have been using Rocket Spanish for a week now and I have to tell you that I already stared to use the material from the first 5 classes in normal life. The method used here absolutely fits my needs and I am very optimistic about my future results. I also really like that I can access the material on an app on my phone. That gives me the freedom to learn wherever I am. So far "thumbs up" for Rocket Spanish.

I’ve just started using the program but so far I love it. I always thought I needed to study a textbook (I do have the background and have already learned the script) but this is extremely convenient. I’m listening every time I’m in the car and also at night. Even though books had an audio component, it wasn’t convenient so I’d mostly just practice saying things to myself. Now I’m actually listening and speaking the language (which is the whole point!). I’ve also used Rosetta Stone and much prefer Rocket Hindi. This has the convenience of the app but also some explanation instead of me just guessing like in Rosetta Stone.

Just started but after having tried out several others, love the way this program works. Hopefully I will continue to move smoothly from lesson to lesson. This is a great way to review a language you have previously learned and want to come back to.

Very polished application. I like that you can learn at your own pace, and that you are learning Spanish used in everyday conversations. I also like how each lesson is framed into a real life scenario, this helps put me into a situation I feel would actually happen. The only takeaway is that I wish each lesson's test portion was longer/more challenging, but this is supplemented by the end-of-module comprehensive test. Overall, very pleased with the Rocket Spanish product.

After practicing on Duo Lingo for a month and taking an interest in learning Spanish I was ready to take the next step and go into a language course and Rocket languages stood out from the rest for a few reasons. I was really excited to try the free lessons before being drawn in by the excellent price for the full course. It is full of quality, real and relevant conversations that force you to hone you listening and comprehension skills as well as a fantastic voice recognition tool that puts you directly in the conversation; something that is invaluable when learning a language and that is unachievable without actually being in a Spanish speaking country. With Rocket languages I forced to actually speak the language and in doing so make speaking it second nature and a I can't wait to get to the higher levels of the class.

I already feel my confidence in Spanish growing and am motivated to become proficient in the language. This is all thanks to the design of the Rocket Spanish course. One additional thing I love about the course is that there is no shortcuts. If you forget an important accent like the é in qué or the á in cuándo then you will get marked wrong, and so you should! Because the course is audio based then you will hear the correct way to say Spanish words and will be able to hear the importance.

I am very grateful for finding this course and thank the creators for opening me up to this language properly.

Nothing "awesome" to say. I thought you wanted my honest, candid feedback. Still waiting for help on the problem of inserting special characters in the writing practice section of lessons. Rocket told me I must wait two to four days.

I get the impression Rocket also doesn't teach grammar either—at least not overtly. Disappointing.

What's your return policy?

I really enjoy the progressive and structural depth of each lesson--hearing a conversation, translating every word, repeating words and phrases, seeing the words written, having my pronunciation compared, flash cards--I can't imagine a better way of doing it!

I also love the daily scoring competition to stimulate a regular learning--I just want to keep extending my streak! It has been fun so far!

Rocket Japanese has helped me with my Japanese class in school, and allowed me to catch up because i had fell behind. It is a great system. I highly recommend it to any one wanting to learn Japanese. I'm even having fun with it. Rocket Japanese really can help if you just want to start understanding some anime, because not all of the CC translations are right.

The system, so far, seems good, though I dislike the way it's presented (e.g., the often "cute" wording and the constant exclamation points).
But I truly resent the constant spam from Rocket Languages that began the moment I paid, and that continue despite my making every attempt to unsubscribe.
And I hate the high-pressure sales technique and the "snake oil" methods of pushing the product. I was hard pressed to buy the program with how it was being marketed, and only the generally very favorable reviews, and the money-back guarantee, made me overlook the insulting marketing.
An email to Rocket explaining these opinions remains unanswered at writing.

This is by far the best language program I have tried. It's very engaging and very informative. Yes, you can learn phrases prior to learning the grammar but I feel it's easier to hear those phrases and understand what they mean first. Then break it down to no what each is what. From there I can add new vocab I learnt and use them in different phrases to get my meaning across. This allows me to feel more comfortable conversing with others that speak the language. This software gives almost everything you need in learning a new language. From practice conversations (yes you speak instead of just memorizing with no speech practice), to the writing system. This is an amazing program and I'm glad I purchased it!
