This program has been very helpful for me. I studied German grammar with another book before using this program, but I found that unless I learned how to speak the language, I wasn't going to be able to remember vocabulary. Rocket German has been very helpful with pronunciation and a basic introduction to the language (after all, I'm still only on the Premium level). I very much appreciate the interactive lessons and how I'm able to repeat myself a number of times so that the pronunciation sticks. The only improvement would be to include more writing exercises. The only writing exercise in the program is to write in German a phrase that the program says in German. It would be very helpful to include an exercise that makes you write in German either what is written or what is spoken in English. Otherwise, I've very much enjoyed using the program, and I think it has been very helpful thus far! Regarding the price, I think it is fairly low compared to other language learning programs, but I was somewhat upset that I only had one chance to purchase the Premium Plus or the Platinum level at the discounted price. After all, how could I possibly know that I would want all three levels without having used the program for some time? Anyway, the price for the Premium level was very good, but I'm not sure that I'd pay another $150 for the Plus or $300 for the Platinum.

Really effective way to learn! I recently purchased this online and after I started learning, I couldn't stop! The German course is really nice and interactive. The interactive audio I was able to download so that when I am on the bus or waiting somewhere, I am able to learn some German. I enjoy the way German is taught using Rocket German, using audio courses unlike some other language teaching programs which uses software. I also really enjoy the games and flash cards that I am able to use to help learn.
Because I travel a lot, I like the mobile app that I can use on my tablet or smartphone.

One of the best sites I have come across, wherein I can learn a basic language at my leisure time free of cost. Its audio lessons makes it more easier to learn pronunciation of the language. Its PDF format lesson that can be printed or saved to retrieve it latter for learning. Thanks.

I've tried other German Language software and nothing compares to the ease of use comprehension as Rocket German does. I will tell anyone who wants to learn a language to try Rocket first. They won't be disappointed.

So far so good. Very thorough and comprehensive, allowing you to hear, repeat, record, and compare your pronunciation with that of a native. Love the program! Looking forward to learning cultural aspects of the German language, as well as becoming that much more conversant with each segment.

Having moved from the United States to Berlin, Germany last year, I needed serious help to get up to speed on my German. I've taken several German courses, and used a few other software packages; however, Rocket German is my favorite of all the language development tools. I really appreciate the fact that the good folks at Rocket Languages are always trying to update the content on the website...keeping the lessons fresh and fun. It's good to back over some of the old material from time to time...and Rocket keeps you motivated to do so. While I do not feel I have mastered the language (yet), Rocket German is helping me get there.

I have been using Rocket German to learn mainly German language on and off for few years. During this time I have tried other language courses but none comparable to Rocket German. I never thought I would have interest in language learning, but thanks to Rocket German today learning new languages is my greatest passion. Learning with Rocket German is fun, its interactive, its easy (Deutsch ist leicht) it open my ears to understand. Thank you...Rocket German. Rocket Language course for German Language study is really useful and one can attend to the course at his or her timings. One aspect that is of highly appreciative isthat what is required of one to go over to a Language Lab all theway is easily reachable at our home and at our study desk. At any time of the day or night , I can just open my Computer and listen to and respond to through interactive audio lessons. Thats awesome and I like it. Since I would like to be outspoken though not critical , I expected certain simple grammer learnings like the prepositions, modal verbs infinite verbs and their conjugations . pronouns , cases and tenses. If these aspects of the grammer is introduced to the beginner, it would have been still better for a beginner to understand any simple sentences in german language. To sum up I liked the lessons that I have covered till date.
