I love Rocket Spanish. I've tried Duolingo, it was free, but It got to the point where they were teaching things like "The bird watched the game on TV" and "The cows cleaned the farm yesterday". I also took level one of Destinos, which a story you followed on video, and had a text book and workbook for learning other vocabulary. It was good, but I feel Rocket Spanish is a better fit for me. With Rocket Spanish, I can study on my phone or tablet, so I can take it to work and study during lunch or when I have to travel. Second, I'm not wasting my time learning sentences I would never use in real life. And with Rocket Spanish, it's not just listening and typing a response, but I get to respond vocally as well. Other programs like Rosetta Stone may have this feature, but they don't offer lifetime use and free updates. Finally, I have to say that their customer support is second to none. When I first started I experienced a couple of problems, but both times the customer service people were quick to fix the issues and gete back to my studies right away. Right now I'm half way through level 1, and I'm looking forward to purchasing levels 2 and 3 as well.

Rocket languages is an excellent application to improve your 2nd language especially it allows you to record and hear your voice after you hear it from the native speaker, you can also write, and compare your mistakes after hinting them

Rocket Spanish really holds your hand to get you learning. And when you slack-off, up pops an email to get you going again. I practice here and then test myself on my long-suffering Spanish neighbours!

Rocket spanish is a very a good place to start to learn spanish because i learned more from here then i learned from my class not my teachers a bad teacher it's because i have time learning from a teacher on a computer.

This is the 3rd Rocket Languages course I have purchased. Italian, German and now Spanish. It is an amazing resource. I use other language courses, paid and free and nothing beats Rocket. Customer service is amazing and when I have a Language question, the tutors are amazing.
The 60% discount is amazing and that is when I buy.
My one wish is that "Play the Part was also developed for Italian and Spanish. Have not used Spanish Travelogue, but use Italian Travelogue. In the German course, they have play the part. Practical everyday life situations, so if it was added to the other Rocket courses wouldn't hesitate to purchase that addition as well.

After much debate, I finally decided to try Rocket Spanish…and I LOVE IT! Having tried Rosetta Stone, Duolingo, Babbel, and Pimsleur, I was very skeptical that Rocket would simply be more of the same… and another failed attempt to learn Spanish. The other programs were ok, but were focused strictly on associative learning and teaching canned phrases and vocabulary without any context about how to apply or use those phrases or vocabulary. The lessons were simply not relevant to my daily needs.

To the contrary, Rocket started providing useful, real-world phrases, vocabulary, and context that I readily recognized from my previous interactions with native speakers! It has been relevant and useful from the very first lesson!! The lessons are straight-forward, easy to follow, and provide explanations about how and when to use the new info you’re learning. Although a little longer and time-consuming than the other programs, Rocket lessons provide more information and are still fairly fast-paced. They also require you to learn and apply the information to different situations beyond the scenario in the lesson so you are gaining a contextual understanding.

I have been using Rocket Spanish for a while now, beginning with the second level, then, when I realized it was too advanced, moving back to level 1.

Overall, it has been very helpful to me. I like practicing the conversations, and once I got my microphone to work, the voice activities were great.

However, there are a few issues. First, until just recently, you were able to flag vocabulary words as you moved through a lesson that would then be stored in your saved vocabulary. But now I can't do that. I've reported the problem and have heard nothing back.

I did not get a "deal" when I joined, so I paid full price, which was a bit high compared to other programs.

I am studying Spanish and really love this program. I recommended the Italian version to a friend who is going to Italy.

I just signed up for the free trail yesterday. I'm enjoying the course thus far. I love the way I can interact with the learning, and the way your program provides the reinforcement training.
