I'm fluent in Spanish and I have always wanted to learn Portuguese. I tried out the trial version of Rocket Portuguese and found it fantastic and easy to follow. I like that there are both male and female voices. However, I found it a bit confusing because they seem to pronounce the same word differently. For example, the male voice Paulo pronounces "de onde" like "dze ondze", while the femal voice pronounces with a clear articulation of "de onde". Maybe it's the accent? Hope I can get a better sense of it from the rest of the course!

I am a speaker of basic Portuguese and have been exposed to the language in business. However when you do not speak it on a regular basis - you lose it. I have found Rocket and so far I am extremely impressed with the interactive nature of the programme. I believe that this will bridge the gap for me with the Portuguese language. I am going to seriously consider using Rocket for my next challenge, which will be French - keep it up, you're the best, so far.

In my opinion the best method for learning another language I have seen until now. In two weeks I already knew enough portugues to have a small conversation with people during my holiday in Lisboa. Besides that, it is fun and easy to use.

Rocket Portuguese is quick and straight to the point. You learn everyday phrases and quickly pick up grammar. I just wish that there was a second level to Rocket Portuguese. I hope I don't have to wait to long before they come out with level two.

The perfect package that helps you to read, write, understand and speak Portuguese step by step. As it is on internet, you can learn with your own pace and as per your free time. This concept is fantastic.

I have been trying to learn Portuguese for about 4 years, using Duolingo and Memrise. Through I found that my reading was OK, however everything else was poor, and speaking was non-existant. Having stumbled across Rocket Languages about a month ago my progress has come on leaps and bounds. My Brazilian girlfriend has noticed a huge difference as well, in that I am actually (or at least trying to) speaking in Portuguese to her. I finally have the confidence to start talking in Portuguese.

I love Rocket Languages Portuguese. The amount of content is amazing, and the quality is superb. I have been learning Portuguese for a year, using various other expensive and inexpensive applications and books, some of which have been advertised on television, yet felt i was not learning to the best of my abilities. i decided to give rocket languages a try, and was instantly impressed with the trial version. i was so impressed that i immediately purchased the full Portuguese course. I would recommend Rocket Languages to anyone of all ages and backgrounds. Very pleased with my purchase.

Really happy with this product. My girlfriend is Brazilian and I've been looking for a good starter course in Portuguese. I'm only halfway through module one, but everything about this course has been excellent so far. The choice of contents, the quality of the material, the structure and delivery (including the mobile apps), and the feedback and review mechanisms have all been fantastic. The price is also very reasonable for what you get, and is far more competitively priced compared to the competition. The Portuguese course seems to be only suitable for beginners, but it's perfect to get me started.

I love the dialogues. They help you develop your listening and speaking skills rocket fast. Unlike the Pilmsleur approach that I have also used, Rocket languages also has the reinforcement activities where you get additional listening, speaking and writing practice so you learn to spell correctly and pay attention to accent marks and special characters.
I am giving it a 4 out of 5 because in my opinion the price is pretty steep (I can get the Pilmsleur CDs for Portuguese level 1 for $34 in ebay) and I feel for that price it should also include some grammar videos with activities and reading comprehension to make it more well rounded.
