I find Rocket Spanish to be a wonderful tool to help you learn the Spanish language, it helps you to expand your vocabulary, and improve your speech in the Spanish language, by letting you listen to what you sound like when you pronounce words in spanish, it also offers you a variety of ways that helps you remember the things you study, they also give you detailed information throughout this course that will enhance your comprehension on word usage, and how to form a sentence in the Spanish language that can easily be comprehended by a Spanish native. thank you for this opportunity for me to comment on the Rocket Spanish course. The approach is highly conducive to remembering, and surpassing, knowledge gained from studying Spanish many years ago: the stress on speaking is critical. I've just finished lesson 3.1, and have to say I have only two peeves, one tiny, one larger. The tiny one: the instructors distinguish lentos (regular glasses) from gafas (sunglasses). This is a distinction I have never heard in Mexico: my Mexican friends always use gafas for glasses. Perhaps this is one of many regional variations, which is fine, but it should be emphasized. The larger peeve is about esposa and esposo. Considering that the US, Spain, many states in Mexico, etc., recognize same-sex marriage, it's grating to hear the instructor say that if you're a man you introduce your spouse as mi esposa, or a woman as mi esposo.
I have been living in USA for many years so had tried other Spanish language courses. Rocket has been the best I have ever tried. It tests you with conversations so that every lesson you get to practice talking as well as writing. It really is awesome. I have recommended it to all my friends and I can't wait to get to use my new second language on all my Spanish speaking friends. Thank you Rocket for your wonderful courses!
It is really a great product and I like the way it motivates me to learn Spanish. I wish it had more exercises for practicing grammar structures and forms of important verbs like SER, ESTAR etc. But overall I can recommend it to everybody who is looking for a convenient and enjoyable way to learn a new language.
Great lesson and wonderful test.. Although, I was not a very good student who study hard and remember everything before I took a test but once I complete it all until i got all 'it's easy'.. it is really help me to remember and say all sentences with confident!!
Thank you guy for a well planned test!!
Gracias..
Rocket Languages is a great way to learn a language. So far I have had fun with my Spanish lessons. I especially appreciate that there is some cultural information within each lesson rather than just the words. This is something a lot of language programs fail to include.
I would like to see more reading examples (e.g. short stories, newspaper articles, etc.) to practice my reading comprehension.
That being said, I can recommend Rocket Languages if you are looking for fun, instructor-led language program that provides cultural background information.
I really enjoy my learning experience with the very helpful and cheery instructor. Being able to download the lessons has been a great help in becoming comfortable with the spoken word. I listen to them during my drive to and from work and this has helped me get the most from the course so far.
I have been using other applications such as duolingo but this is much much more detailed and fills in all the gaps plus quizes me in the right ways. I am very happy with this course. 1 year to bilingual here I come!
I love the Spanish Program because I already speak and understand the Language-so it is a lot of fun and good practice for me!
I would like to hear a bit more of the Castillian dialect in the program so I can become more proficient and visit Spain.
As for the Arabic (I signed up for both) I believe that this language is quite a challenge only because I have not had the time to really apply myself and quite frankly will have to begin all over again I am so far behind.
I hope to have the time to begin again and Amira always sends her emails and I appreciate them very much-
In all honesty, one would really have to have a private tutor to truly become fluent and this would take a lot of time re: Arabic
I love languages and I appreciate your courses so much-They are the creme de la creme of them all!!
Muchas Gracias!
