There is a flood of offers on how to learn spanish or other language, I decided to try Rocket Languages and so far I am very happy with my progress. I think it is really effective and if you stick with it you will get what was promised - start talking! Thank you!

I wanted to give it a thorough testing before leaving a review and as I have just completed Level 1 (sort of) now is the perfect time.

The interactive audio lessons and survival kit lessons are a fantastic way to learn a language. Listening to the audio and not understanding it at all before the lesson and understanding it completely after the lesson is very rewarding.


The language recognition is inconsistent, although much improved. It works very will on Chrome using an ancient windows 7 laptop. It's pretty good on my phone (IOS). It's not so good on my new laptop, regardless of which browser I use.

The language and culture lessons were a big problem for me. By module 5 I was completely out of my depth. It was taking ages just to complete a lesson & I wasn't able to retain the content at all. It led to long periods of me "quitting" in frustration for weeks at a time. By module 7 I simply had to stop attempting them. I appreciate this may be exclusively my problem, I have very little formal education. I have recently purchased a number of very basic children's books and I hope that regular reading will help with my grammar and language. Perhaps one day I can revisit the lessons I struggled with or didn't attempt.

I hate it and it is a waste of time because it is super boring

Unfortunately I am one of the Rocket Languages failures. I spent my first few months doing what I believed the course asked me to do -- one lesson per day with extra study. After 4 months I had finished the first level of Spanish. I could say hello to folks, order a simple meal in a restaurant -- check in to a hotel, etc., but when I met with my Spanish speaking friends I could not understand what they were saying . So following the recommended learning path was not working for me.

I also noted that the course admins reward points as an indication of learning. Yet, in my case, I could not see any relationship between points and my knowledge of the material. Also a glaring weakness is that one can earn points by repeatedly answering the same questions. I found that I was memorizing the answers to all of the questions. I then thought if I could present the materials to myself in a different way, I could learn the materials better. I began pulling down many of the lessons at one time -- taking them into a little program I developed that would then present the material to me in various ways. My hope in doing this is that by so doing, I would more effectively learn the materials.

This course is so easy to follow and gives the learner the ability to practice speaking while learning. It has been fun to review what I already had learned previously about the Spanish language and to steadily learn new vocabulary very quickly. Very easy course.

I have a little time to learn a new language. Generally, anyone have some obstacles to learn it like: pronunciation, mixture of the other language in the study of vocabulary..etc. But with Rocket Spanish program, I will be confident in learning Spanish because there is a part of tutor section to teach on the pronunciation practically and a part of culture to be easily applied as I communicate with the native speakers.

Looked at various learning programs and the one looked more like what I wanted.
I am very much interested in being able to make friends with our Mexican guide when I go fishing the next time in Loreto Baja.
I have been there several times and it would be so much more fun to be able to converse on some level with our guide

Have only been studying Rocket Spanish for 10 days and can't believe how much I can remember and actually speak already. The lessons are presented in such a way that by time every segment is finished, the new phrases and vocabulary stay in my memory. Nothing else I have ever tried has been this effective! It is just great to practice pronunciation which helps build confidence. I love Rocket Spanish!!! Recommending it to relatives already.

I've recently began Level 2, all lessons good on Level 1, but I'd like to express appreciation for Lesson 9.9 , Level 2 in particular.
I've struggled with the irregular preterites for some months. Your tables showing the regularity in these irregularities is most helpful and I'm seeing patterns I'd not seen before.
