Just starting the course but I can tell it is working!! Looking forward to speaking Italian on my trip to Rome.
We are so happy to hear that you are seeing results with Rocket Italian. Best of luck with your Italian!
I think it's definitely better than the language courses I took in high school. Language teaching is definitely moving in the direction of learning words by integration, and I like that. It could have a heavier emphasis on reading in the language; the conversations are a great start but they're kind of short; longer passages could be helpful. I'm glad it gives formal conjugations and vocab lists, etc.--much better than Duolingo. The motivational mechanisms are fun without being overbearing. Overall, I think it's a good course to get you rolling if you'll have immersion later, or if you'll be reading in Italian.

We are so glad to hear that you are enjoying learning Italian with us. We have passed all your feedback on to the Development team. All the best with the rest of the course.
Non va bene avere istruzioni in inglese invece d' italiano. Anche, questo è un sito per imparare bene l'italiano e si usa una persona, Charlie, che non ha per niente una pronuncia buona in italiano. Ridicolo!
Just the right pace. I am really enjoying the process.

We are so glad to hear that you are enjoying the course and that it is working for you. All the best with your Italian!
Enjoying this opportunity to learn a new language while working at my own pace. Especially appreciate hearing correct pronunciation first, then hearing my own voice and also having ability to go back to repeat as needed.

Why is an Owl and a Koala so important in Italian?
Response from Rocket Languages
Hi John - The letter K is only used on foreign loan words in Italian, and "Koala" is just an example. And as far as owls go, well they are just too cute to exclude.
This work is rudimentary and simple to use. I recommend it.
Just started Level 2 Italian. So far it seems very good. The explanations are very good and there seems to be a greater emphasis on listening and creating your own sentences which is where I got stuck in Level 1.
Rocket Italian was my first Rocket Language. I had always found Italian a beautiful language, yet had never made the time to learn it in a class. It's been a while since college, and I feel that Rocket Languages has given me the opportunity to fulfil this lifelong goal. For a language that I have pursued wholly independently, I feel energized by doing the lessons at the end of the work day. The characters within it are fun, and the scenarios from getting parking tickets to going to the opera are varied parts of life and travel. It's not real travel, but it is escapist with a balance of education. Unlike another online program I use, I direct which exercises I want to do when, which is a matter of preference, but as an adult, I like to navigate my own learning. Love the Leaderboard, and the unpredictably occurring badges, as well as the printable Module Certificates.
I love learning Italian on Rocket language. The more I practice it the more better I become. For me rocket language is the best app to help learn languages.
