I tried many commercial self-learning languages in the market. But for Chinese, Rocket Chinese has it all! It's on-line, so it is at the same time a light and available from everywhere software. I can practice my Chinese with my work-PC, my personal laptop or my spouse's computer. It's simple perfect! The lessons are well guided and very encouraging when you see the progress you already made. Also, because you can compare you score with other's people score it is also encouraging to see that you are not alone. I love Rocket Chinese, I would never dream that someday I would learn Chinese.

This course does a good job of giving a structured set of lessons as well as lots of nice extra material. It gives good basics on pronunciation, writing, as well as some grammar and cultural information. Very useful for getting a good foundation which you can use to start studying more on your own. I will consider getting the second part of the course, but at this point I feel I can begin to branch out on my own as well with the tools I have.

Rocket Languages is a program designed for beginners to easily comprehend how to pronounce the words. You might have to run through the lesson a couple of times though, but that's to be expected from any form of learning.

Much better than Rosetta Stone.. I just came back from Asia and from what I learned from Rocket. it helped a lot. Plus, the price and ease of usage...unbelievable. If you put in the time and effort, it will pay for itself.

I usually have a difficult time with most language learning methods (like a certain one that rhymes with "Bobetta Fone"!), but Rocket's method fits my learning style perfectly! As a foreign language teacher, I highly recommend it!

this website is verry interesting,i loved it because i find many lessons helping me develop the language that i am learning in hawassa university ,there is pinyin,character style,pronounsation,it has dictionary...etc

Well hello rocket languages is so cool because it is now teaching me some important knowledge in French also after learning French l want to learn German on this website after learning German l learned already 4 languages then l would learn all the languages

I find the content of each lesson is very practical and not too overwhelming. I enjoy being able to re-listen as many times as I like and to compare my voice to a native speaker. I also like the fact that the Chinese script is included every time. The cultural tips are incredibly useful and interesting. The writing section is great where you can watch every stroke being written. It includes all aspects needed to learn a language. Thank you Rocket Languages!

Unbelievable!!! Did I ever know that learning a language could be so fun and interesting. I am my own Master!! Its all entirely up to me how fast and how much I learn. With all the interesting features, who wouldn't look forward to moving to the next level everyday!!!
