Rocket Spanish is a very thorough methodology for beginners. It is exceptional in stressing a logical presentation of conversational Spanish using drills in audio, written, spoken and timed exercises. I have tried many formats over the past two years and find this has created a more memorable framework for my learning process.
For me being able to take the whole course with me on my travels on my mobile devices without having to carry books and cd's is a real godsend. The course structure really works I find that from the start I can understand how the language works thanks to the simple explanations and being ably to click on a phrase to repeat helps a lot in me getting the pronunciation good.
I have barely learned anything. I do have ADHD but this system is absolutely terrible. It is too fast paced. I will listen to an audio lesson and it expects me to remember everything. I do not understand anything they are saying. This was a elective for my school and it has been a complete waste of money and time.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, Josiah. We're really sorry to hear that the course hasn’t worked well for you. Our program is designed to build understanding step by step, but it sounds like the pacing and structure didn't meet your needs. We truly value feedback like yours, as it helps us consider how to better support different learning styles. If you're open to it, we’d love to try and help or suggest alternative ways to use the course that might be a better fit. Please reach out to us at [email protected].
The Spanish course does an adequate job of starting one learning the language. The technique used is anything but new as I have used it over many years for two of the several languages I know. The price for the first set of lessons is reasonable at less than $100 but then the price escalates.
The My Assessments area is where you can take a variety of different tests that cover the whole course:
My Rocket Rehearsals lets you select exactly which lessons you want to be tested on, so you can really focus your revision. This is a great way to practice for the My Proficiency test.
My Proficiency is a longer test that examines elements from half of the course. There are two My Proficiency tests for each course. These tests use the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for Languages as a guideline.
I really love that I can record myself and play it back with the native speaker so I can hear and see if I am saying it like a native Korean. I have been studying on my own and find that I can read and write it really well but when it comes to understanding it being spoke I am lacking.
I really want to watch a Korean drama without subtitles and I believe Rocket Korean gives me the tools to get there.
I could not get past the incredibly annoying woman with her fingernails-on-chalkboard voice. The squeaking, the overemphatic emoting, the inane chatter and the off-putting accent have driven me away from this program in the first 5 minutes.

Hi Kat; I am sorry to hear that you didn't gel with our Rocket German presenter. We are actually close to releasing an all new interactive audio course for Rocket German, with all new voices!
Rocket Italian and Rocket French are my go to for language learning. I am a long way from fluency but you hit all the marks and check all the boxes. Happy to be here. Thank you.
Response from Rocket Languages
Thank you so much for your kind words, Ron! We're thrilled to hear that Rocket Italian and Rocket French have become your go-to tools for language learning. It's great to know that the program is checking all the right boxes for you. We're happy to have you here too; wishing you continued progress on your journey toward fluency!
This is an absolutely fabulous product. I have done more to improve my speaking ability and listening comprehension skills with Rocket Languages, than I have had with anything else. No other language program is as user friendly towards beginners as Rocket Languages. They either bog us down with way too many conceptions, such as grammar and writing, or they are far too simplistic and cover only the bare minimum of what the average tourist needs to say.
Furthermore, the fact the Rocket Languages sorts theirs lessons by subject and teaches colloquial conversation puts it miles above other programs, that have the user work through everything before being able to move on. That means if you don't want to learn how to say, "the boy is under the ball," YOU DON'T HAVE TO.
Now, regarding price there is simply no cheaper alternative to Rocket Languages, except for programs offering monthly subscription. But do you really want that? I mean there is no guarantee that you will have even learned the language by the time your subscription ends, so will probably end up spending the same amount of money anyway. Plus you won't be use those sites for ongoing review a couple months or years down the line. Whereas Rocket Languages offer a LIFETIME ACCOUNT membership with free updates. So go ahead and try it out! There is no better time to start learning a foreign language than now!
I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
