Rocket language is, for me, a very great opportunity to learn the basics of another language. However, I think the pricings are a little bit high. I am 12 years old and am learning Korean because there is a boy band i like called BTS. BTS are from South Korea and so, speak Korean. I like the learning style of rocket Korean very much, but it is overpriced. I am , however, learning very fast on here and would love to continue learning using this site.
The thing I like most about Rocket Language is that it is audio based so you are actually speaking the language. Unlike other products that use this method it has tons of additional content and the price is not too high.
This is by far the most comprehensive course in learning to speak Italian. It incorporates speaking with grammar as well as culture and history. I am learning so much and loving the experience! So glad I purchased the entire course. It is worth every penny!

Thank you, Judith! It's great to hear how much you are enjoying all the aspects of the course. We wish you all the best!
Rocket Languages is a very good program. I have only recently started using it but am finding it a very good way to learn a language. There are several different ways to use the program to learn like writing, pronunciation, flashcards etc. I would highly recommend it.
Very good format in general. However a few recordings are distorted and difficult to hear and a small number have volume variations.
The tools facility is very good. The flash cards sometimes remain blank until you press reveal,
On the benchmark test the word to be spoken sometimes does not appear and therefore defeats the purpose of the test.

I am a bilingual person (translator from English into French) trying to learn Japanese. I've been trying several methods books, on-line, etc., over several years. Even though this method is far more interesting and educational than Rosetta, I feel that it is lacking of grammatical points or explanations, so to be a complete learner, you need to complement it by another mean (books or apps). After saying that, I will still recommend this on-line method, since I believe it is one of the best today.
Improvements:
The testing system: it would be more educational to be testing more than 5 (Japanese 2) or 10 questions (Japanese 2), while the listen and writing, test you on over 30 questions.
Even though the voice recognition improve dramatically over the years, it is still sometimes difficult to use it, especially with long sentence in the Play role section. The system stops before I say half of the sentences. It works fine most of the time with single word.
The first audio is too long and have a lot of unnecessary moments. For example, why practicing to say a word or sentence when it is listed in the vocabulary section in which you can learn how to say it as well? Also, to be honest, Kenny's voice is a little annoying after a while.
A bit too early to judge, I just started using it for German, but so far it is going sehr gut!
A small improvment would be to teach memorizing the nouns coupled with their articles (Der, Die, Das) since the begining, not to go through sorting these out again at a later stage.
But still, the course is considered great with a nice way for practicing a lot of speaking and writing which were very useful in my case! Thanks

It's great to hear that your German language learning is going well, and we appreciate the feedback regarding the articles. You will actually start to notice this after module two. The reason is that German articles function quite differently from their English counterparts, so we purposefully structured it this way to prevent learners from getting the wrong idea. Of course, language learning is unique to each learner, and some may prefer a different approach. Feel free to reach out at [email protected], and we would be happy to discuss how to tailor the course to your learning style.
I plan to relocate to Germany and learn to speak, write and understand the language. The rocket courses are great! I've learned how to pronounce words, and write after my first course. Thank you for being a reliable source to individuals who want to learn German
I love all the different methods you learn: guided conversation or written language lesson, flash cards quiz, listen and repeat, writing, say answer and short quizzes. Definitely a great, interactive way to learn. Highly recommend this program, definitely the best one I have found (after a lot of searching).
My only negative is they need a flash card app for all of the sentences and vocabulary in the program (not each lesson) which remember how well you know each card (worse cards are seen more often - the flash card quiz doesn't do this).

Thanks so much for your review, Scott. It's so great to hear that you are enjoying the course. I just wanted to let you know that in the Flashcards test, if you mark a word/phrase as Good or Hard, you will be given the opportunity to test yourself again on just those phrases, until you marked everything as Easy. I hope that helps!
I love this program and I have tried many. It’s one of the few that I have actually stuck with. The repetition of hearing, voice recording and writing really help. I also like that I can easily see where I am in the course and my progress.
