It is fun to learn French pronunciation and more about the grammar. I also think it is good for my seventy-six-year-old brain to try this new exercise!
I used to really enjoy these lessons (taking the Japanese course). The banter between tutors Sayaka and the original Kenny made lessons enjoyable and fun. Since I had returned from my trip to Japan I had taken a short break from practicing, but I recently jumped back on only to learn that the original audio lessons have been replaced with a super boring monotoned narrator. While the program did initially help me impress all of my Japanese friends, it no longer feels like I have lifelike tutors to encourage me to keep up my studies, just a robot with choppy cut and paste vocabulary being lectured at me. The enthusiasm of the lessons is gone and sadly so is mine with learning from this program.

Hi Christopher - We are sorry that you feel that way. The decision was made to replace the non-native speaker (Kenny's) parts with a native speaker. The decision basically came down to answering "what provides the best and most authentic learning experience for the majority of learners?". While Kenny has been a big part of Rocket Japanese we just thought that his accent compromised the voice recognition functionality.
I have had this course over 2 years. I just keep plugging away at it and reviewing it. I am pleased with the hear your own voice feature. I have my money's worth. Eventually I will speak Mandarin fluently.
I think that it is a very helpful place to start if you are just starting to learn Korean, or if you just want to learn the basics to get you trough if you are going to visit Korea. I like how they actually test you and you can choose between Easy, Medium, and Hard in the Rocket Record. I find this very helpful since the harder it makes it for you to pronounce it well the better off you are, I myself have gone for the medium not sure if Hard is for me, I struggle a little in the medium level so I´ll probably use it on that level for a while.
FANTASTIC COURSE! I LOVE IT.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Rocket Chinese is very helpful if you are studying outside China. Constant practice of conversation, listening is much harder if you are not in country. Rocket Chinese helps simulate total immersion. Also the testing tools allow focus on the most difficult, nagging expressions.
Rocket French Languages was really helpful with learning a different language for me and at the same time very easy and enjoyable to use. the instructions along with slow and fluent voices are practical and useful for fresh begginers.
I really like this approach.
I am taking Japanese lessons weekly and find that remembering commonly used phrases helps me in class.
Had some trouble with password reset yesterday on my iPhone, so reset it on my desk top.
Will see if it works
fantastic love it because they tell u how to produce the words. They are currently the best way to learn japanese i cant wait for when i go to japan to try out this language.I am only 13 but i love the japanese culture so much and i am from chicago
This site is very helpful. I took Spanish in high school and college but didn't follow up on it when I grew older. This is a great refresher course as well as expansion on what I had previously learned.
