Rocket Languages review criteria
There is a persistent problem with the voice recognition of single syllable words. The system does not register any speech or it can't recognize the word spoken. I have nearly completed the first module (lessons 1 - 7) and I consistently encounter this problem. PLEASE FIX IT as it is very frustrating.

Focused on translation rather than immersion.
People with low auditory short term memory will struggle once passed level 1.
Not ordered in a method that feels progressive for the skills you obtain. (you will hit a wall)
Repetitive program, and uninteresting. You could say it is a bit of a bag drive.

I have been doing this everyday since starting a little over 2 weeks ago.

This is an excellent service. I've been studying Russian for about nine months, but I recently felt like I had hit a plateau. My studies have included reading books, watching videos, using flashcards, completing a RUSS 100 college course, working through Rosetta Stone, and reading short stories.
This course has significantly improved my ability to learn and retain new information. The combination of extensive repetition and practical application before moving on to new material has been incredibly effective. Rather than simply memorizing vocabulary or grammar rules, I have been able to actively use what I've learned, which has greatly strengthened my understanding and confidence. It has also helped me with spelling and typing in Russian.
