Although this is the first time I've sincerely studied a foreign language (for fun, not because it was required), the technology and tools available for the basic language program is awesome! This online program really engages all aspects of the learning process (reading, writing, speaking, listening, etc.). And..it's so much more affordable than most of the programs out there.

I am so glad I bought Rocket French! The course as a whole is outstanding as it caters to all learning styles. I find it difficult to learn just by ear so being able to write, test and get involved in the actual conversation really helps the new vocabulary sink in! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to learn a new language. It's much easier and more fun than learning in a class! :D

It has been very frustrating having a Japanese wife and not being able to speak much Japanese. When we get together with her friends or her parents I feel a bit lost sometimes. The tipping point was my recent trip to Japan. I decided right then that I REALLY need to be able to speak the language. I researched many programs online and Rocket Japanese seemed to be the best fit for me. I must say I have been extremely happy. I can take things at my pace. I do about twenty minutes each day. I love the banter back and forth between Kenny and Sayaka. It keeps it fresh and interesting. I am confident that I am finally on my way to being able to speak Japanese. Thanks so much!

It's super easy to use. I want to be a professional gamer in the future. Korea is currently the most competitive country so being able to discuss strategy with Koreans is super important to staying ahead of the competition. Lessons are short enough to do anytime and reviewing what you already know is convenient too.

I didn't know Rocket Russian before and i'm very satisfied with the course. It's structure is excellent which makes it easier to learn. You can go back whenever you need and repeat some exercises just to crystallize your learning. Thank you

Just started to check out the Arabic Course. I am a professional translator and teacher who just attended an 50 hours Egyptian Course at my school and I must admit, this course is a great support to any regular classroom course since it gives you a chance to practice live language at home, highly recommended!

I have other more expensive programs, but Rocket French is easier to use and gives a good insight into the language which some of the others struggle to do. I Definitely recommend Rocket French to anyone wishing to learn another language.

I listen to the downloadable conversations when I am cleaning, working out, and every time I have a break... I just saved them to my phone and listen to those instead of music! I love the different activities! I have learned so much already! thank you! I wish the font of the Arabic words was larger so I could better learn how to put the letters together to form words. I've studied Japanese for years using various language learning software, but none of them have really helped me out as much as Rocket has. To begin with, the learning curve feels appropriate for each lesson. You are doing more then just listening to words and phrases and trying to memorize them, you actually unearth the reasons why you say various things at various times. The explanations help you to stay on track, and remain motivated. And even if there are words you don't understand, you can highlight them at any time and look them up in the dictionary. Don't like the definition that is given (or there isn't one)? Then you can add your own definition to stay organized.

Unlike a lot of other programs, you are also learning how to write the actual language in the way that the Japanese do. After all, how can you say you truly understand a language just by reading or speaking it? You have to be able to write it as well, and Rocket shows you how to write each hiragana, katakana, and kanji character properly, stroke by stroke.

Price wise, Rocket is truly a bargain for the content that you are receiving. It is all available as soon as you sign up, and there is no expiration date to use the material. Unlike several other programs, the price is also reasonable and stays out of the $200's, making Rocket affordable.

You can't go wrong with Rocket Japanese. Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, there is still something to learn.

I was using Spanishpod101, and I switched to RocketSpanish based on online reviews. I regret the decision. I'm disappointed that there's no means to diagnose my proficiency and place me in the appropriate level. I find the dialogues ridiculously boring and unauthentic. I'm suffering through this, because I'm committed to learning the language, hoping it will get better as I progress.
