I have only been using Rocket Portuguese for about a week. Have tried it on my iPad and both FireFox and Chrome on my computer. I would be impressed with this product if the microphone and rating on pronunciation worked consistently.

I like the lessons and the reinforcement activities as I really feel that I will recall the various words and phrases in my longer term memory. The emphasis on pronunciation is good but even at an easy setting sometimes the words don't register correctly - however it is good on improving my speech.
There are a few annoyances - the lesson is 20 minutes, not sure why we need the opening and closing music. Paul does seem to speak English with a strange accent which is distracting. Given the price of the course I would assume that this is aimed at adults so we don't need the forced cheerfulness and "jokes" that are included. I would rather the lesson had more actual learning content and less slang words.
I purchased the course as it has grammar lessons - these are OK but I generally have a lot of questions on minor points which are not covered - a reference as to whether these will be covered later in the course would be useful.
I would also like to know how the 3 levels equate to external standards. For the UK for instance if you do the 3 levels is this equivalent to a GCSE qualification or would it be more A level standard as I would like to take my French further.

I took Spanish on another website and found I learned words, but not how to speak the language. On Rocket Languages, I am learning how to have real-life conversations. Fantastic learning lessons let me absorb what I need to know. I can't imagine a better way of learning.

This course is very good for me! Since 2009 i already knew about this rocket app, and i did have a good chance to learn Italian when study master course in architecture in Milano from 2010 to 2012 . But that time my English was not quite ok then i just concentrate to English but not Italian, that's the biggest mistake i had when i was in Italy. 10 years later, now i start again with Italian and try to push myself to study 1 language in every 2 years! Hope i can speak 5 languages when i am 50 (now i am 40). Really love ROCKET, personally i feel if you learn a language everyday about 1 or 1.5 hours with strong intention to the target language, you will be able to speak a language within a year with Rocket APP. Hope Rocket can produce more languages for US - the Learners!

I'm up to lesson 3 of Rocket Korean and am loving it! I've learnt the alphabet and some words from books, but it’s great to hear the language being spoken and have a chance to learn the correct pronunciation and sentence structure of Korean. Love the hosts too. Good price. Recommend highly!

I've learned so much from Rocket Languages, the platform is very well done. All stages make sense as you move on. It isn't too much grammar or vocabulary, just the right amount to keep you interested and invested. Exercises are excellent for you to memorize and keep you familiar with the language.

I've just finished the first 4 lessons, and I am so enjoying this language program! Maria and Alex make the learning fun, yes; but the repetition is so helpful, and that they break it up with little facts about Italian customs mixed with a bit of grammar. The way they alternate between normal cadence of speech mixed with slow is great, too. And the reviews of the prior lesson at the beginning of the following one -
