I researched on-line courses and Rocket Italian got the best rating.

It is self paced (I use downloaded recordings then go back to the on-line text and grammar) and I have found it very easy to learn quite sophisticated (but I realise still "baby" language) phrases.

Coupled with a trip to Italy you get a really good accent.
I really recommend it as it is also quite inexpensive and I have so far nearly completed the second premium course in about a year using it on and off.

A powerful learning tool especially the quiz from English back to the learning language as it tests 'how ' I want /need to express myself.
Using the ear for language learning as well as repetition are also powerful tools. Excellent for pronunciation and confidence as an adult learner.

I have just finished my Free Trial. During this period, I also tried several other competitor free trials, and used all of the comparing the similarities and differences. *Rosetta Stone was easily dismissed as I did not think they did well with phrase translations, but only focused on the single word. * There were a couple others, that were just too expensive, so that was an easy "No". * Spanishpod101 was very similar to RocketSpanish, but did not have the progress dashboard, and quite frankly, they had more unnecessary humor and comments in some of their dialogs that were not relative to the language learning. * Rocket Spanish was more geared to the learner. They keep encouraging routine practice, and the dashboard monitors your progress. Breaking down words into exact pronunciation has really helped me, and I only had the free trial !!! In summary, Rocket Spanish, in my opinion was the best language course for me at the best price. I would definitely recommend to a friend. I purchased several levels of Rocket French last year. The interactive lessons are very helpful and very easy to use once you get all the settings right. Now I have purchased Rocket German. I expect German to be much harder, but I have high hopes! I appreciate the prompt customer service, and the emails remind me to stick with my lessons.

Speaking French could make all the difference to my European holiday and Rocket French is helping me to achieve that goal.
The lessons are easy to follow plus you can rate your progress throughout the course. I would recommend Rocket French on line lessons to learn a language at your own pace and in the privacy of your own home.

It is so nice to be able to follow the German News, understand my husbands German friends and not to feel like a big banana at a dinner table!! Thank you Rocket Languages!! Now my big aim is to really study this exellant course(and be able to argue in German!!)

I've really enjoyed the course and have learned a great deal. Maria and Alex are great they do a good job of explaining everything on the course plus extra stuff. So far the best Language course that I've tried.

I'm only a few lessons into the program, but I'm already convinced that this is the best method for me to learn a language. I know that I'm an auditory/writing learner, and the combination of the two during the testing phases of each lesson work incredibly well for me!

Useful every German language practice with Rocket German and I am starting to think in simple German Phrases. This is truly an Awesome Program that allows to build your language skills. It is also interesting to hear what are students/members have to say!

I really enjoyed the free trial lesson and couldn't wait to buy the full course. the fee for lifetime access was real value for money and a good fit for my budget. What I like most about Nikita's lessons is there relativity to everyday life. I find learning Hindi with Nikita's"s lessons far easier than with any other language programme purchased. Main Bahut passand hai !!!
