I decided to try Rocket Japanese because I wanted to learn some Japanese before a trip to Tokyo .I just returned, and the Japanese I learned with Rocket Japanese was not only extremely helpful, i want to learn more.

i am enjoying rocket Spanish and learning at a good rate.Although the course is quite expensive i think that it is reasonable value for money. The course is easy to follow and instils a lot of confidence in my ability to converse in spanish.
My overall impression of the level 1 program is that, with the exception of vocabulary, and the present tense, Rocket Italian Level 1 is very weak on teaching the student Italian grammar. An example of this is the use of prepositions. These seem to pop up everywhere with no explanation as to the rules governing their use (like the use of "di" which has at least 15 different meanings!), Level 1 aggravates this problem by frequently giving you lengthy Italian phrases in th flash cards & the "Know It" section to memorize. These contain grammatical structures that are never addressed in the course. Also, it makes no provision for different responses that the student may have translated correctly even though it is different from the translation in the course.
I would suggest they introduce a grammatical rule give some examples, & and then drills on that rule. The drills would also incorporate review of a verb tense. This would reinforce the latter and help us master both until they become second nature.
Instead, we waste enormous amounts of time memorizing lengthy sentences with no idea of the grammatical rules which govern the sentences. These are sentences which we will never use and quickly forget.
So far this has been a great course. I have really enjoyed it. I start out with Rocket Russian first thing every morning and then use my other language courses to build on what I have learned. I've been using it to prepare for an upcoming trip to Russia.
I really really enjoy your lessons. I have tried some of the other French lessons offered but you are by far the best. Unfortunately I did not have the time to continue catch up with my lessons up to now but hope you will not cancel my free lessons because of inactivity. I do want to continue!
Thank you and all the best!
This approach to tackling Russian is exactly what I needed. I started the language with textbooks and grammar and only managed to frustrate myself. Since starting Rocket Russian, I've seen massive improvement in my listening and speaking abilities and I couldn't be more motivated to keep learning! It's brilliant!
Rocket Languages is a wonderful tool for everyone who wants to expand their vocabulary in other languages. I personally have been taking Spanish and like my life motto, "I regret nothing." I would recommend Rocket Languages to anyone who needs to learn a different language for school or for pleasure.
Really good for learning languages, very natural and just very good. Would recommend, 10/10. I had some basic knowledge on french before this, but this was the first one that allowed me to record and review my own voice. kjagijaewijfnadjshif
I've just started the first few lessons and I really like the conversational approach to learning and the additional form of testing that follows. Unlike other learning platforms that I've tried that encourage you to speak, Rocket's approach of using voice recognition makes it into a kind of game where you feel that speaking correctly matters. I also love how you can stand in for one of the speakers in a pseudo-realtime conversation. It feels that one step closer to learning with another person. On the negative side, I find the male teacher to be a bit too 'smily', like he is talking to children. This isn't especially off-putting when we get to the actual conversations and explanations but it doesn't really help with learning. I guess they wanted the male and female teachers to have some kind of rapport with the students but it feels forced.
