Rocket French Reviews

This course is simply perfect. I just love it, especially for the opportunity it offers to write the sentences one hears. I also like the way it is easy to download mp3 files onto my smartphone to learn at the gym or when travelling on trains, etc.

Being able to click on the sentences again and again until the words are finally absorbed is also a luxury which I appreciate in modern language learning on the computer. The possibilities for learning are endless with Rocket. If you get tired of one type of exercise you can try out another- there are so many ways to work on the four skills i.e. listening, reading, writing and speaking which are imperative for mastering a language.

Learning is truly inspirational and fun on this website. I have already tried out my French in Paris, and had many fantastic moments talking to waiters and waitresses, taxi drivers, hotel clerks, people on the street, shop people, etc. Next trip I will try to have longer conversations. All of this accelerated learning would not have been possible without Rocket because my confidence in my progress has never been higher.

I've just started the program and so far, so good!!

Good review of basics and builds on it for more advanced learning. Only been at it for a week, but excited to see what I will learn more. Some of the audio does not match with what I say. I double check with Google Translate and it doesn't not work( Première, Deuxième, Troisième, etc), However based on reviews that I read, it seems to have gotten better!

I think these Rocket courses have the right methodology. I've used them to learn German and French, and I felt how my listening proficiency and vocabulary went up pretty quickly. I don't use much the extra hearing, speaking and vocabulary games that are at the end of each lesson, but listening to the main audio lessons and doing the Rocket Reviews has been enough for me.

I had to buy it in English, in French and in the future, in German... It was a little bit sour to pay. But the course is good. I am recommending to my friends already and my wife is also enjoying it .

I finally started using Rocket French properly and really like it. Each level is well presented and the various ways to practice and review the conversations are superb. Also all the bonus supplements such as the alphabet, numbers, telling the time are wonderful. I totally recommend Rocket Languages.

I am thrilled to have been referred to Rocket French. I found that I was tackling French in a totally academic manner. ie. I was learning to read it and write it very well, but when it came to stringing a sentence together, I fumbled! Rocket French has enabled me to have lots of interactive practice in listening to the French accent and responding with confident pronunciation. It even provides the written language too! Tutors are encouraging and fun, whilst simultaneously teaching huge amounts of info in seemingly easy sessions. I hope to improve my Spanish later, after completely mastering my French. Wow!! Thank you for making Flash card vocab revision earn points!! It was a necessary evil before, that I'd tack onto the beginning or end of a lesson . . . I feel even more virtuous now that I can see the tally go up, and it counts towards my active streak!

UPDATE!
On a recent visit to France/French-speaking Switzerland I found I could understand much more of what I read and heard than on previous visits. Although often too slow to respond, when I did say something, I WASN'T ANSWERED IN ENGLISH !! (I take this to mean that my pronunciation is also much improved.)

I am not even half-way through Level 1, and am convinced that Rocket French will have me communicating meaningfully on my next trip.
