I have enjoyed watching Japanese anime shows for years. With just a few lessons of Rocket Japanese, I'm beginning to pick out certain words and phrases without the need to read the subtitles. I look forward to a better understanding of the language by the end of the course!
Enjoy learning it, Very good because you can always return to difficult parts. Had to stop for a while because of moving my home, but it was easy to pick up. From now on, I'll regularly continue. The target is learning the language. Unfortunately, my computer does not allow voice recording. I hope that this does not influence the study results.

Hi Elza - Make sure you try the Android and iOS apps!
This program has only gotten better as the years have gone bye. I have loved the updates on the site. It is easy to use, and easier to learn. The lessons are not too long, so it doesn't ever look overwhelming. There are games too, which make learning even more fun.
I have two other Rocket Language programs and am now trying Spanish. Like the others, it's very user-friendly with easy-to-navigate, comprehensive modules. I love that you can go at your own pace without hassle, (which comes in very handy with my slow approach to Mandarin!) The lessons are logically arranged and build on previous lessons. Testing, quizzes, reviews, pronunciation tools, (like record and compare,) make Rocket Languages the best system I've ever seen or used. Most programs simply drill you in vocabulary, but RL teaches you a language AND its culture! They are truly the best!
I bought Rocket Japanese after trying out the 6 day trial and I have to say I was really impressed with how organized all the content is. I have to say that I absolutely love Rocket Japanese and I would recommend it to any of my friends and family!
Like many other members Rocket Languages is helping me achieve my dream of being a fluent speaker of a new language. I've always had a fascination with Japan, its culture and its language and it is a truly fulfilling experience to see how quickly I can advance - I can read, write and say so much!
I have been using Rocket Japanese for two years and found the site to be easy and exciting to use. It's so important to me to be able to hear a native speaker of the language because if I'm going to speak in it, I'm going to sound right; no half measures with me!
What I truly enjoy and appreciate is the culture lessons. Japan is so intact with its history and traditions it is truly fascinating - and very, very different to Europe. It is important to be able to feel like you have got to know the country a little bit and not feel like you are at risk of inadvertently causing offence. This is especially if you are aspiring to live (or even visit) there one day, as is the case with myself.
The lessons provide quite complex sentence structures straight away which I couldn't truly appreciate until I had had some classroom lessons which built a solid foundation for grammar and syntax.
I looked up the best software to learn Japanese because it became too hard to learn on my own and now I feel so confident with it thanks to Rocket Japanese, nothing i have ever learned has been so streamlined and at times where i found it hard to understand i asked the question and got a response almost instantly and it was always super helpful
I'm really glad that I found this site. The lesson are very easy to understand and Sayaka-san's voice is really beautiful. As a Romanian native speaker is not really simple to learn such a hard language like Japanese, but the Rocket Japanese team makes everything simple.
I'll recommend this site to all my "otaku" friends and Japan-lovers :]
Rocket Japanese has been an excellent way to review all the things I learned in Country. Great for refreshing your memory on specific vocabulary sets. Well organized so it's easy to hone in on exactly what you want to cover at any given point in time. By far superior to Rosetta Stone.
Rocket Japanese has to be one of the easiest ways to learn a language I have ever found, as I can pick up and pause lessons as my schedule demands as opposed to trying to work around traditional lesson styles which require me to set aside hours at a time to achieve any progress.
