It's great you are enjoying the course and the materials. Remember that learning a language takes time, the more you practice, the more you will find yourself remembering different words. You will be able to speak Chinese in no time!

I very much enjoy Rocket Chinese. Of course, you get back however much you are willing to put into it. If I stick with it, a little every day, I find I learn very quickly.

A very clever format that takes the learner through rote learning deep into Chinese before he/she realises it. Very intense and rewarding.
I am very old and use nonsense words to make pictures which I can remember. eg speak = ciao, hello in Italian
Gaoxing = happy, Gaussing means magnetising a ship.
