I've studied Japanese for years using various language learning software, but none of them have really helped me out as much as Rocket has. To begin with, the learning curve feels appropriate for each lesson. You are doing more then just listening to words and phrases and trying to memorize them, you actually unearth the reasons why you say various things at various times. The explanations help you to stay on track, and remain motivated. And even if there are words you don't understand, you can highlight them at any time and look them up in the dictionary. Don't like the definition that is given (or there isn't one)? Then you can add your own definition to stay organized.

Unlike a lot of other programs, you are also learning how to write the actual language in the way that the Japanese do. After all, how can you say you truly understand a language just by reading or speaking it? You have to be able to write it as well, and Rocket shows you how to write each hiragana, katakana, and kanji character properly, stroke by stroke.

Price wise, Rocket is truly a bargain for the content that you are receiving. It is all available as soon as you sign up, and there is no expiration date to use the material. Unlike several other programs, the price is also reasonable and stays out of the $200's, making Rocket affordable.

You can't go wrong with Rocket Japanese. Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, there is still something to learn.

I signed up a while ago but have been using it intensively for the last week - and I am really enjoying it! If you make use of all the different ways of testing yourself - recording, role playing, writing etc. - then you can make real progress quickly.

I love Rocket Language! I heard about it on the Tom Wood's Show....and I'm so glad that I checked it out. There are so many ways to learn with Rocket Language. I drive a lot as a sales representative so using the mobile App has been perfect for me. I simply play the audio course and participate while I drive. Also, I like that there are flashcards, quizzes, and fill in the blank style exercises to help me retain the information I learn (not while driving of course!!). My new year's resolution is to become fully fluent in Spanish by the end of 2016...all thanks to Rocket Language!

Rocket French is just what I've been looking for. It is the best course by a mile.
The course is structured and well explained. The people a Rocket Languages know what they're doing! The price might seem too much, but its well worth the investment.

Rocket Russian is a very fun, useful, interactive learning tool that keeps me engaged and wanting to come back to increase my points and earn the next badge. The lessons are enjoyable, especially the voice recognition is very useful for the beginners. Unfortunately there is only one level, perhaps later more levels will be added.

This is an awesome site to learn a language. It is interactive and you have the chance to practice what you are learning by means of flash cards, quizzes and mores.

I've been using RF for about 5 months. I've gone to other internet courses to add to what I'm learning, and finding that I always come back to RF. The other courses are good, but don't work for my style of learning and pace. RF is well planned for beginners and addresses language needs that I expect to use.
I have no expectations of being fluent and living in France. My hope is to visit the country and be able to converse on more than a superficial level, but not like it would be if I lived there.
RF is preparing me with strong basics in French, and I may try to take it further, but I need a good foundation, which I am getting in RF.
Thanks for being there to answer my questions and for putting a good program together for beginners like me.

This was what started it all! I am so happy that I got this product back in the early 2000s. I have been using it ever since! THANKS! What a great product indeed. It was so great for one language that I am now going to get it for another language! Thanks rocket languages! Thanks for making my dreams come true and my song take flight!

I really enjoy the variety of tasks per lesson. While not all are how I learn, it appears that Rocket Language covers a wide variety of learning styles to cover most people's learning styles. I enjoy the audio portions and the text recall sessions. Combined I feel like I'm learning three times as fast as I would with either one on their own.

If you want to start learning a language Rocket Language is a good way to jump in head first.

Love the step by step progression of the program and the clear and concise grammar lessons! Only concern is the voice recognition for certain sounds ( e.g. initial /t/, /v/, words like "un" and "peu," difficulty recognizing numbers). This does not impact the strength or use of the program, so it is not a major factor. I have used a variety of sourced to learn French and this is the best , by far!
