I am loving my Rocket Italian course. The audio is fantastic! It is really helping to train my ear to the Italian language, and the conversations are interesting and engaging. It hits all my learning styles, and the repetition is very good for me. I like it better than Rosetta Stone or any other courses I have ever tried. I am excited to visit Italy in October of 2020 and try out what I have learned.

i love the lessons in this website also you learn fast and easy. then they also have good pacing skills.

I am having trouble getting the accent right. This is impeding my progress. I need to re-watch, read and listen many times and still my accent is terrible. This is a lot more work than I expected, but I will plug onward.

I have recommended Rocket Languages to all my friends and family. I am having an awesome time learning French at my own pace. The point system is cool and motivational. I cannot wait to finish the premium version to move onto to premium plus section. After that, it will be Spanish then Italian and MORE. I will continue to use the program FOR LIFE, and I know it's features will only improve over time. I love Paul and Claire, they're exceptional tutors.

My favorite section is WRITE IT, I seem to do the best in this section. The Hear it, Say it, Write it and Know it sections are awesome and reinforces what and how you learn. I wish that the software was able to grade you itself based on your pronunciations, just as it does in the write section. I also admire the MY TOOLBOX section. My vocab section is amazing and limits the amount of note taking I need to do in my personal notebook. The Advanced Learning Techniques section is a MUST READ, very helpful tips.

I wish the PHRASE FINDER was actually a French-English translation dictionary, as opposed to only being able to search words that are contained within the lessons. Dictionary feature would be an awesome addition.

I just finished Level 1 German, and I have learned so much! I actually feel like I would be able to converse in German (with a very patient German speaker!), and now I have the confidence to try. I had used (free) Duolingo before, and Rocket German is so much better and well worth the cost. Understanding which verbs to use to politely ask for things was new to me - Cultural lessons like that are very important! I love the "Benchmark" tool and making my own Flashcards for study. Highly recommend!

I am in the first few days of practice, but I find Rocket German very effective and motivating, easy to spend an hour listening and speaking, steadily honing pronunciation. I already notice that phrases I am learning are retained in my memory: I find myself playing them in my head the next day. That kind of palpable retention is what I was hoping for. So the reward will keep me at it!

Rocket German is the finest program for learning how to speak a language. With constant practice and repetition you find that you are making real progress toward speak convincingly.
I have found no other program on the Internet that is so effective in its methods.

I got a subscription for Rocket Italian for Xmas 2012 and worked at it fairly consistently until we traveled to Italy in May. I was hesitant to speak Italian until we got into a situation where no-one spoke English and then surprised myself by being able to communicate with some farmers who sold us wine and olive oil. On another occasion I got so immersed in a conversation about some church architecture that I completely forgot myself and chatted for some time with a local man about 'domes'. My husband was totally impressed (he didn't know what we were talking about) and takes full credit for giving me the course as a gift.

You can learn almost any kind of language and it translate to the language you currently speak. Platico en español todos los dias! I started using Rocket Spanish about 7 years ago, when I spoke almost no Spanish. I first visited México in 2007, with maybe 10 words. Thanks to Rocket Spanish, I was able to move to México and I can now speak with people every day. I especially liked being able to practice in my car, so I could dedicate some time every day and focus on the content, without worrying what I sounded like. I now read and dream in Spanish.

I've been using the Rocket Spanish for 53 days, and while it has some good points, it's not an effective program for learning Spanish. The co-host, Mauricio, does not speak clearly enough for a beginner to understand, and there are some times when he is clearly not saying the sentence that is on the screen. I might recommend this program for business travelers, since that is mainly what the lessons are about (getting a hotel, booking a flight, ordering in a restaurant), but even then, you won't become fluent. You will just learn what you need to know to get around in that country. I've just requested a refund.
