Rocket Languages Reviews

This is a great course. I like the options for review, with listening, writing, flashcards, and voice recognition it is a comprehensive program. I'm only a week in, but I can see myself sticking with this.

I wish there was an option where I could select multiple flashcards to review. I'd love to have a way to select boxes for lessons 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and either "all cards" or those "marked for review." This would allow me to review multiple lessons at once, and stay on top of all previous lessons without having to open each lesson individually. I have found my learning style is really helped by using flashcards. This is an ease-of-use issue, but in total, the program is great.

I was introduced to Rocket Languages through my local library. This is another reason that Rocket Languages is AWESOME! Persons with limited financial resources can experience this phenomenal learning language tool. I completed the available course lessons several years ago. However, I continue to log in and learn new things. I do this several ways. I can always review the lessons and take my tests over. I can also read Mauricio's learning tips/tools. I can review my own notes that I took and saved and I can still add new notes. Also, the forum is AWESOME! I use it to learn, to practice writing in Spanish (my chosen language) and I have asked questions with AWESOME results. Rocket Language continues to provide me challenges. This keeps me excited, interested, and learning new Spanish every day. Thank you for making this AWESOME material available to our (still quite free) local library's. YOU ROCK!

Useful drills and relevant exercises that get you up and running faster than other programs. I have tried other programs and they were very boring and didn't really teach the language. Rocket is a leap forward in learning a language.

Great language learning tool. The fact that they have a native speaker teaching us in audio lessons really helped with my pronunciation. New vocabulary is learned with new words woven into each lesson. Rocket German ist ein gutes Werkzeug!

I would like first of all to comment on Bill Landman's review of two days ago. I am not yet up to Level 9 (only at Level 5), but I have had no trouble with pronunciation being recognized thus far, so I jumped ahead to Lesson 9.11 to see if Mr. Landman's remarks would be confirmed. As it turned out, however, I had no trouble at all achieving a 100% rating in pronunciation on everything, with Record Difficulty set to "Hard." Thus, whatever problem Mr. Landman experienced does not seem to be with Rocket Spanish itself. Perhaps his microphone was not clear, or its output level was too low (or something) that day.

I have been very satisfied with Rocket Spanish. Although I'm only on Level 5, I have been using Rocket Spanish for several months (not with great regularity, obviously, or I'd be farther along). I had previously gone through at least 3 different CD courses, one of which I thought was excellent. However, CD courses are not interactive, of course. Nor did even the best one go to as high a level as Rocket Spanish.

I love the pace and the challenge that comes from speaking with an accent. Rocket feels more interactive and engaging than even some of the in person classes I've taken over the years. This time I feel I am learning the language, not just repeating information presented.

Rocket Languages' website allows me to learn Germand without having to leave my own house! It's a perfect way to improve in as many languages as one would want in order to be more polyvalent on travel. For your job, for your school or simply for yourself (like me), Rocket Languages is a perfect place to improve your languages skills.

The review exercices are really helpful and you can even try to match your prononciation with the "teacher". Prononciation have always been a lack in every language learning website I found, but not here!

I highly suggest Rocket Languages to anyone who would like to learn a specific language. And for people like me, who don't speak English as their native language, it's a perfect way to improve both languages at the same time!

Speaking of the price, Rocket Languages is definitely affordable. Considering the amount of time I have spent on this website, I cost almost nothing an hour!

At last I found a site that teaches Spanish in an easy way. It is Great way of learning new languages. I've learned a lot from this site. It has many new techniques of learning Spanish and you never get bored. It is very easy to use as well.

Absolutely love this program!! Its awesome that it uses writing and audio in conjunction with each other to get the full experience and understanding of the language. I also like that it explains that certain words are spelt differently if you're talking about yourself compared to others - I've tried other language programs and struggled because I didn't have this simple information. RECOMMEND!!!

Rocket Spanish is a great help in learning Spanish, polishing the Spanish you have learned and in reviewing things learned so many years ago. I use RS in conjunction with online Skype lessons and ¨in- country¨ Spanish classes. RS is probably the most comprehensive Spanish learning tool available--and at a very reasonable price; I have tried costlier software programs and have always been quite disappointed. I am especially impressed by the sound quality for both listening and recording. RS makes things interesting and fun by way games. The language and culture section helps you understand many of the traditions and customs of Latin America with a bit of grammar thrown in. I am a level 3, but I still listen to and review past vocabulary and concepts via mp3s from previous levels. Because of my past experiences with many Spanish programs, I can say conclusively that RS is the best.
