I've decided to start learning Spanish this year and I took some Spanish courses in Hong Kong. They were good, but I felt I didn't have a chance to listen to native Spanish enough or had enough oral practice, and so I started searching for online courses. I read a review page about online Spanish courses, as someone who is serious about learning, I bought the top 3 that were recommended, Rocket Languages was among them. And I have to say, Rocket Languages MUST BE the best choice. I bought the 3-level bundle, and it is ABSOLUTELY worth it! The materials, the technology, the extra information, the grammar, I totally love the course! I don't remember exactly how much I paid for the course, but I remember the amount is equal to roughly 3-4 months of Spanish course in Hong Kong. Frankly, you can't learn that much in 4 months, a lesson per week, in a group setting with 20 students in a classroom. But then with Rocket Spanish, I can learn daily, and re-learn if certain parts are hard, and I can listen to the conversations on the bus, in the gym, etc.
In fact, I've already recommended my girlfriend to buy Rocket German, and friends from my Spanish class to buy the program.
A great online tool to teach you how to get the nuances down of the Mandarin language. Topics covered are relevant and assist in everyday conversation. Also, cannot beat the price versus the competition.
Clear, step by step learning. you can find everything, writing, listening, reading and grammar.
you can skip, review, re-do, and take quizzes. I do not think it misses anything unlike other online course. thank you Rocket languages.
I have spent hours comparing the top language software programs. I am convinced that I will learn Spanish more quickly with Rocket than any other program. Many of the other programs do not include grammar, and I believe this is essential to learning the language well. I am thoroughly enjoying the program and started speaking Spanish immediately.
It has all the right content, but in all the wrong order. After struggling with the early lessons I realized I had to start each lesson at the bottom, learn the simple words and phrases and then make my way up to the longer stuff at the top/beginning.
Then after struggling with 5 lessons of long, complex multisyllabic structures, they finally introduce you to the endings and tone pronunciations. This means that the lesson structure is in the wrong order too.
Technology seems great, lesson ordering and general approach seems to need a lot of work.
Finally, this is likely a personal choice: but when I'm trying to learn Chinese I really don't want to have an exuberant english guy shouting at me about how excited he is. As I realize some may like this, I'd like an option to filter out Dave and just learn from the native speaker.
Rocket Spanish is far and away the best online Spanish course I have ever come across. After doing a ton of research, reading reviews, comparing what you got, the price, and more, I chose to purchase Rocket Spanish. It is a choice I have not questioned.
Over the years I have recommended Rocket Languages to anyone looking to learn a foreign language, at all different levels. Those folks who took my advice have been more than satisfied with their purchase.
As with any course, if you don't put in the time, it doesn't matter how good the course. This is so true with Rocket Spanish as well. When I actually dedicate myself to spending the time with Rocket Spanish, it comes very easily. This was never the case when I was "learning" a foreign language in school.
I am 67 years old and currently living in the Dominican Republic. That being said, I felt it necessary to take on the project of learning a foreign language to better communicate with the peoples of the DR. The challenge living in the DR is that they bastardize their language. Dominicans drop off letters, change pronunciations, you name it. This also changes from one part of the Country to another.
The lessons are well-thought out and at a perfect speed for learning Italian. I am utilizing Rocket Italian with another excellent program and between the two of these resources, I feel confident that within a few months, I will have a good, solid basis for speaking and understanding basic Italian.
Im still looking for the vocabulary lists ?
It doesnt help to teach someone how to say and memorize 'hello how are you' in Korean,
if they cannot find out which one is how, or you .......
Not happy with the lack of definitions......
I am a bit of an Italophile and visit Italy every year so thought it would be at least polite to try and learn the language. I had made several attempts to learn Italian but was making very little progress when I made the decision to try Rocket Italian. From the very start I felt that I was making progress and now have the confidence to give it a go when in the company of non English speaking Italians. I find the pace of the course just about right as I can regularly go back because everything stays available. Maybe that the most fun I have however is translating American into English. :o)
Keep up the good work

I used to be terrible at learning languages at school. And also Hindi was hard in the beginning, but once I got the grips on it, it was so much fun with Rocket Hindi. There are multiple ways to learn, and I also keep a notebook (offline). The combination of all of that really helps.
