Just started learning Italian. Enjoy it so far. Still have much to learn
Amazing experience learning italian with this program. I suggest all the people to have this experience.
Its nice to learn more about japanese language, but in my situation its very hard to know writing in japanese but im so thankful because of i have to learn so I study it very well and it really helps to know alot of words in japanese, thank you rocketlanguage.
Thank you so much for re-recording the Japanese modules entirely with native speakers so that we can have an immersion experience in Japanese. That is so important. I found the original, non-native Kenny's voice to be very jarring. It is so much more pleasant to listen to the gentle speaking voice of the native male speaker. The format has always been excellent and I'll be devoting more time to Rocket lessons now.
presentation and content of lessons are easy to follow. keeping it simple is the key to comprehending and understanding each lesson . i am very pleased
Learning Japanese has always been a dream of mine since I have this great love of the art, music, tradition--basically the entirety of the culture. After ten or so years of dreaming to visit Japan it's finally coming to fruition this upcoming fall. I thought to myself what would be a better time to study a language I've been long aspiring to learn. I've tried a handful of products over these years from Rosetta Stone to Pimsluer, but there always seemed to be a piece missing.
When I first tried Rocket Languages I noticed it had the piece that I was always yearning for in a language learning program, it's modern. Languages change over the years, and the preference of words is very important to sound authentic. Knowing what is more current in society compared to a more archaic can really make or break the authenticity.
Another great thing that Rocket Languages does is that they cover a wide spectrum of the language--you get to really understand the language . I love that it really focuses on everything from speaking, writing and culture. And besides just memorizing a phrase like some programs do, Rocket Languages pushes you to truly understand what it means.
Over all I highly recommend Rocket Languages to anyone who is interested in picking up another language!
I had some background studying German in college and living there a couple of years courtesy of the US Army. But that was quite a while back. Now, I decided as a hobby to brush up and improve my German skills. This is an excellent tool to assist me in this goal. One interesting thing is that I have a lot of background noise where I live; however, the speech recognition is able to do a very good job except when one of our pet birds squawks. All of the speakers but one speak very clearly and slowly so you can catch the appropriate pronunciation. I provided feedback about one speaker who speaks so softly that it is hard to distinguish sounds, but this is probably something you could easily encounter in speaking to a native German. The application is very good for grammar understanding and building a vocabulary; however, it has been good for my learning to supplement the course with some German short stories at my level to better learn expressions and dialog in different situations and locations. Overall, I am very pleased with the course.
I've truly enjoyed the lessons and the tools provided in these courses. I already can tell my pronunciation and understanding of Spanish are improving! I make a point to listen to at least one lesson a day. The courses are structured to build on each one previous so you keep using the vocabulary you've already, which I think is very helpful. This was definitely an excellent purchase!
Well I think that Rocket Languages should be all five stars. Duolingo actually only takes you to around B2 level, while someone can pass GCSE, IGCSE and their O Levels in French by completing Level 3. Level 1 is the A family (A1-2), Level 2 is the B family (B1-2), and Level 3 is the C family (C1-2). Honestly, this must be all five stars.
My fiance got this for me as an early valentines day/anniversary present. At first I was skeptical because I've tried learning Japanese so many ways for about 2 years now and I couldnt find anything that I could use on the go that would also let me practice vocally. I even took a college class that was tough, mostly just writing, and hard for my busy schedule.
At first I didnt realize all the lessons had writing and speaking and then I started playing with the app more and I noticed all the awesome features it comes with, including almost 400 hours of lesson time in the 3 levels! I have the app on my phone and I use it during breaks at work and durring my long commutes.
The only complaint I have is that the voice recognition has trouble when I'm driving on the highway and other times it stops before I'm done speaking. Otherwise Rocket Japanese has been perfect for my lifestyle this far!
