For the most part, I do like the course. It is an easy and enjoyable way to learn. I am taking the Italian course.

My only MINOR COMPLAINT SO FAR is the specificity of some of the lessons. In Module 3 of the Premium Basic Course, the first 2 lessons are waaaay too narrowly focused. The first concerns a trip to Mount Vesuvius with conversation about walking around the volcano's crater and how cold it will be on the summit(!) - a dialogue I really can't imagine most ordinary travelers having much need for, and the second deals with a certain Italian liquor called Limoncello. I skipped the bulk of the conversation portion of those lessons, except for a phrase or two. The extra vocabulary sections also had some benefit.

Now I understand that sprinkling a little culture, geography, and traditional customs is an attempt to broaden the course's appeal, but I'd personally find the lessons much more useful if they conveyed more common everyday requests and conversations. For example: asking where to buy a newspaper, rent/park a car, ordering a beer/glass of wine/soda and leaving a tip, chatting about the weather or someone's family, or complimenting/discussing another's clothes, jewelry, home, etc.

Perhaps that's just me, though. However, up until those 2 lessons, I felt what I was learning had broader adaptability and usefulness.

I found the 'rocket record' function very useful once I had worked out how to keep the recording function in play (changed my search engine to google chrome from firefox as the flashplayer kept crashing. I love the fact that the lessons go straight into practising sentences and phrases in French, now I just have to be disciplined enough to do a little everyday.

This program is a must have because it's approach is very holistic and quite enjoyable. I use it for Egyptian Arabic, French and German and the Arabic one is the best in my opinion but the French & German are of equally high quality. If you stick with it and study every single day (30 minutes to an hour) and go through the flashcard when you have deadtime, you will see huge improvements and can even have some good A2 level conversations after 2 months of study. I do have all 5 levels of Pimsleur French & Assimil French with ease but this program is the most enjoyable both for structure and content. My only critic of the French program is that the male speaker has a heavy British accent but the female is French regardless, doesn't detract from the learning experience. A must for your collection!

I am really satisfied with the course. It is highly appreciating. Because you have prepared it in a such way that it is very easy for any person who does not have a little knowledge even does not read and write can easily learn French language in the matter of weeks . This approach was so much easier for me. It helped that the information is chunked, this means I can make time in my busy schedule as well as not feeling overwhelmed by the information being presented. Certainly the value for the money is excellent, especially compared to other language programs.

Rocket French is an excellent way of learning French very fast. I had many difficulties in French but since I came across this program by chance on the internet, I decided to use it and see if it would work for me. Now, I have found out that it is the best of all other programs I have already discovered on the net. I recommend it to all the persons that are interested in Learning French very fast.

It's immersive and very educational. A good price for good quality lessons. The audio is clear and interactive, which is helpful in learning pronunciation. Lessons are short enough to provide a sense of successful memorization, but long enough to help solidify the knowledge. I will definitely continue using this.

I really like the fact that I can download the lessons to my iPod and listen in my car. I have a long commute and it makes me productive during time that I would normally be stuck in traffic. I would like to visit Italy in a couple of years. I have always thought that Italian was nice to listen to even if I didn't know what was being said. I am glad now to be able to say a few things and I am starting to understand more.

Rocket Languages is a convenient and effective form of language learning. The audio sessions are really key in teaching the logistics of the language. These sessions allow practice for the hearing while encourage practice by repetition. I also look forward to the practice tests and modules which are essential and have been helpful with correction and reinforcement. Overtime, I have appreciated the improvements to the functionality of the program. Thanks for staying as current as possible. Rocket Languages has made a difference in my learning experience. Diane.

I have tried other apps, this works the best for me. I really like the download/offline mode so I can practise without the internet. I am making good progress. Feliz aprendiendo, gracais.
