The accent is laughable. As in, my spanish friends couldn't stop laughing. It's Mexican spanish, in a bad accent. The plays and lessons are mired in stereotypes, sexist, and awful. As far as actually learning Spanish goes, I'm struggling on with it, but I can't say it's really helped so far. Hopefully it will start sticking, but having spent six weeks in Madrid recently, I didn't feel this course helped me at all, and I was still struggling with even the most basic conversations. There doesn't seem to be any background to the lessons, or intricacies of the verbs and their conjugations, which are just brushed over.
I've paid for it now, so will keep persevering for the moment, but I regret the purchase.

A wide variety of voices are used on Rocket Spanish. They are mainly Latin American, as that is the Spanish being taught. Mauricio is from Chile, there are also voices from Ecuador, Nicaragua, Argentina and more!
I've tried out many apps to learn Japanese, and no matter how many I tried, I always come back to Rocket Languages!
Unlike many other apps, once you get Rocket Japanese your membership is lifelong, no need to update your subscription. That's a really worthwhile investment. Ah, and of course their learning method and organization of studies is great (I can save pdf of ALL lessons to repeat even offline).
Tanoshi and omoshiroi! I enjoy doing the lessons since I can hear the sound and tone of the language and see the written forms. Learning is easy when I can repeat things as much as I want to get the right pronunciation and tone. The culture lessons are extremely helpful to know the context of the words and phrases that I am learning.
I have had some experience with Sign Language classes and have also used ASL from other sites. This is a great learning experience even for someone just to use as a refresher. I have enjoyed the course and am excited to continue.

It's great to hear that Rocket Sign Language is helping you refresh your signing abilities. We hope you continue to get the most out of the course.
Rocket Italian is great! I believe there is one mistake in lesion 5.7 The section heading past perfect tense is actually the present perfect tense. Thus far I am really enjoying this course. It is a great way to learn Italian, the language of all my grandparents whom were born in the area around Torino. My wife and I enjoy Italy. She is impressed that I can use my Italian there.
Overall, I've enjoyed the Rocket German product. It would be very helpful to have a set of audio control buttons (play/pause/rewind 3 sec) positioned directly beneath the Quick Settings on the left margin of the web page for the interactive lessons. When I listen to the interactive lessons on a computer, I constantly have to scroll from the line in the lesson back to the top of the page to pause/replay a word/phrase. Similarly, a rewind 3 sec button on the phone version is desperately needed. Lastly, I would like to see a video option for the Language & Culture Lessons. Reading through all of this is a little dry. I want to watch/hear an instructor saying these words/phrases. Thanks
Works great, and fun. Only problem is that Hear it Say it stops working after a few lines. Otherwise seems very effective, can work while driving, lunch breaks etc. Before it was always hard to find quiet time to work on languages. Keep working on android!
I love the various methods the syllabus takes you through in order to ensure you're getting the material. I never thought I would get writing French at all since I was just at the introductory level, but the repetition of marking how you thought you did until you get them all right really helps to get it down. Sometimes I feel like I sound like a cheesy robot trying to get the exact right inflections but I just remind myself to learn it and later when I actually know what I'm doing I can sound like myself speaking French right? I love how they have a woman and a man as well. It helps in hearing the sounds. The accents over letters are going to be hard for me but I've only just started so I'm sure that will get better!
Here I go again, I thought! Yet another attempt to learn a language I have been studying from the age of 11 years. I am now nearly 70. I just don't seem to be grasping the speaking part! I can understand reasonably well what is spoken to me, but by the time the brain cells function and my mouth begins to open another topic as been started. Enter Rocket Language, stage left. Brilliant! I can start where I want. I can dip in, dip out, go back, go forward, become extremely studious or just forget it. Just what I need for my type of lifestyle. To top it all there are those little stealthy reminders that gnaw on your conscience sending little waves of guilt through the synapses of your brain. Would I recommend it? Yes! It encourages me to keep moving sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly, but ever forward. Kieran
Rocket Spanish is a revelation! At first glance the trial lesson looked like a lot of "fragmented" vocabulary to take on board. However, once started it quickly turns into a trail of gradual understanding. The "bite-sized" treatment of the material quickly turns into a game and you are gradually drawn into completing each section.
