I'm not sure how long I've been using the Rocket Arabic course, but before using it, I had tried some of the other courses available on the market. but met with unsatisfactory results. I find Rocket Language's Arabic course to be the most helpful, useful, and enjoyable course available. It offers the best features and tools for language learning. It also offers relevant and practical vocabulary.
I am especially happy that this course focuses on Egyptian Arabic because it is the dialect I am most interested to learn.
Rocket Arabic has boosted my confidence in speaking with the Egyptian friends I have, and many of those whom I've known since before I started using Rocket's Arabic course have commented on my improvements in speaking Arabic since using Rocket Language's course. I feel the course has also helped me to better understand Arabic when I hear it spoken.
I feel that Rocket Language's lesson format is very helpful, and I especially appreciate being able to listen to the lessons in my car, or on my mp3 player. Also having the option of viewing the lessons in text form to better understand words I hear during the course is a valuable resource.
I have recommended Rocket Languages courses to many friends and colleagues who want to learn a second or third language.
Thanks, Rocket Languages, and Amira Zaki, for creating this wonderful course. It has helped me enormously. Alf shokr.

I absolutely love the layout of Rocket Japanese. The read and response questions as well as the pronunciation practice really helps to nail down such a complex language. I often listen to the lessons when it's not busy at work or when I'm driving so there's never a lot of downtime between lessons.
I do recommend that you use another learning app along with this one. With Japanese being the complex language that it is (especially for English speakers) it's recommended to learn the language from multiple perspectives, or even focus on something that you find is weaker than other aspects of the language (like Kanji or Pronunciation).
That being said, you can absolutely get by just by using this program. It is on the more expensive side, but if you're serious about learning the language it's an investment that should absolutely be considered.
I have been using Rocket Italian for approximately 2 weeks now, i have used Pimsleur, the problem with Pimsleur is that they don't explain what you are learning, Rocket Italian explains as you go, every session is concise and clear, and the most important thing is that I'm learning.
Just a great program

Whenever i email Maria DiLorenzi i get a reply very very helpful.
I really enjoy using the program because it is thorough and challenging but not complicated. I like being able to record myself speaking and compare it to native speakers. It has really helped me improve pronunciation. Over all I say this is a great system.
I am working with Rocket_Italian for about a month now - and love it. Despite the fact that it's an audio course I am actually retaining a lot. The many different exercises focusing on "recall" help one pay attention. Grammar is explained well ... but it's not overwhelming. The speakers are fun to listen to ... and the culture remarks offer some interesting insights. Overall, a great program. I wished I had had something like that when I struggled through learning Spanish "the traditional way". Keep up the good work.
Re flash cards: it would help to have pictures in addition to sound to make them "stick better". Maybe this can be added where appropriate?
Response from Rocket Languages
The ability to add images to the FlashCards is coming soon!
I speak for Rocket Japanese:
Price is fair, if you buy on sale. Still not cheap, but fair. I have learned a lot from Rocket Japanese. I mainly use the audio lessons. They are awesome. They are kept fun, but still are very challenging. I replay them at least once (but usually 3 to 4 times). The quizzes on the site are good too and do help me to remember. The site works good and is fast. I do not use the apps.
There are flaws, but i consider them as minor. The biggest one is that audio quality is not top notch. Don`t get me wrong: It is alright, but it could be better. A short audio file with just the vocab of the lesson (for every lesson) would be awesome too. But maybe that will come someday. Sometimes, i feel like the audio lessons are too challenging. But better this way than the other way around.
The biggest pro that speaks for Rocket Japanese is that i can use it anywhere. You can download all audio lessons, and use them on a normal mp3-player (no drm whatsoever). This is very important to me.
I am kind of an japanese learning addict and i prefer Rocket Languages over Pimsleur (you do learn a lot of vocabulary of it, but it does get boring). Rosetta Stone is good as a vocab trainer, but i prefer to have explanations.
Good to start as a beginner but can provide more sample lessons basic free and can make other advanced lessons like essay writing poetry as chargeable. Good that hindi is given in readable form of english.
The Hindi course is very good. I picked it after research and I am sufficiently satisfied. It is interesting enough and teaches well one who wants to learn. There are minor glitches such as with when the system repeatedly does not accurately recognize my response on some exercises but this is not of the essence. I hope Rocket will continue to grow and improve their solid base.
Rocket Languages makes learning a new language fun & interesting. After trying several other online language courses and feeling disappointed & frustrated I have finally found a company that knows how to teach.
Rocket Japanese is amazing. Since it includes interactive audio lessons, I find it much easier compared to going to the bookstore and buy a book with all this stuff. Because of this audio lessons I find it easier to pronounce Japanese words and I can also assure that you will learn the correct pronunciation using this interactive audio lessons since one of the hosts is a native Japanese speaker. Another thing I liked about it is you can download the audio file and also the pdf file that goes with it, and you can study the language offline. There are also games which you can play that serves as a review or a test for you which is really fun to do. Its set up of how to learn this language is not boring. Its really fun to learn a language with the interactive audio lessons. It seems like you are having a one on one lesson with a friend who is a native speaker of the language you are trying to learn. And I really admire Sayaka and Kenny since they always sound so enthusiastic to teach Japanese language in every audio lessons.
Being a Jrock fan I think Rocket Japanese is one of the reasons why I am now able to communicate to other fans in a better way. And also, now I can understand some lyrics from the Jrock songs I'm listening to without any translations. Thanks Rocket Japanese!
