did you do sign language for the UK or does it translate all over the world with one language,i get that dialects change as do the majority of signs ,but are the basics the same ??

My Dictionary

The preface before going into My Dictionary claims to have over 2,400 words, yet I can't even seem to find the word "Thursday". Is there another page that has access to more words? Because there are clearly not 2,400 on that page.

The letter G

All other sources that I have looked at form the letter G by extending both the index finger and the thumb straight out and parallel to each other. This course forms the letter G by extending only the index finger. Why is this course doing this differently? Where did this form of the sign...

Why does the sign for "No" change?

The sign for "no" changes when you're using it alone and when you're using in a sentence like "no smoking"? Are they interchangeable?

Left handed signer!

Hi, I'm left handed. I have no problem looking at the video and imitating what I see w/ my left hand, is that okay? Also, when I view the video, it's like looking in a mirror, are the signs actually reversed? What I mean is the difference between the words "hope" and "apple"...

Helping Deaf and Hearing Communicate

Can't figure out what is being signed

In Lesson 5.4--Classifiers Part One, I am uncertain as to what is being signed in the last example for "Practice Time" (other than the sign for "helicopter"). Could someone please provide assistance as to the individual signs and their proper order? It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
