I really like Rocket Languages! It lets me move onto things even if I haven't done the things before it, and it has a lot more of a variety of languages than most free websites and programs. It also lets me have conversations on the website instead of just saying a few words.

I've tried books, CDs and tapes. Rocket German is the easiest, fastest, most economical and fun! Once you get started the enthusiasm begins. Emails from Rocket German are very encouraging also! Don't waste your time or money on anything else. Rocket Languages is the by far the best language course you can use and by far the cheapest! I'm going to Germany next year and am very confident that I'll be speaking like the natives! I'm also blessed to have German friends here that I can practice with. They tell me "Du sprichst gut Deutsch!" Vielen Dank Rocket Languages!

Love the different approaches to learning and being able to record and playback my own voice. Very extensive content. Would not like to do this in a classroom. I also had a very present experience talking to someone at Rocket on the phone.

Useful every German language practice with Rocket German and I am starting to think in simple German Phrases. This is truly an Awesome Program that allows to build your language skills. It is also interesting to hear what are students/members have to say!

I've looked at so many German courses but I just cant find another that provides the variety of tasks with various levels of difficulty and entertainment to keep the students attention. It provides continuous entertainment and motivation.
It's never a chore to get back to study, it's a real buzz.

Great language course with tools that are easy to use and reinforce learning. Lot's of practice with pronunciation. I like that one of the instructors is native and one is not, provides a balanced perspective and real world examples.

Rocket Languages is an awesome way to learn German or any language. It is light years ahead of the way I learned French at High School long ago.

In place of learning lists of words, you are given phrases to use so that you learn idioms rather than setting yourself up to use stilted expressions that don't accord with actual usage. You can still build your own vocabulary lists and export them to a file in your computer; and you can create your own notes to accompany these lists to gain understanding of how the words are used and case modified. I was offered .csv but would prefer .doc, but this is a minor matter.

The ability to download the initial conversational lessons is a great plus along with also being able to download .pdf files so that you can refresh yourself in these lessons again in a different context such as in your car.

Learning to say words, phrases and sentences from native speaking German tutors ensures that you learn to speak with a minimum of foreign accent, and the repetition with variations speeds the assimilation of the language. This experience is enhanced by your being able to record and re-record your rendition of a recording made for you by a tutor.

I am so happy that I joined this course! I could recommend it to all my friends who want to learn a new language or refresh their knowledge in German, French etc.
Besides that, rocketlanguages is preparing regular new updates and they are for free for all users.

I really like this program for German. One of the areas I have difficulty in is when I listen to the female teacher, (not Nik, she is great) the delivery is faster than I can comprehend the word or phrase. Also her natural audio level is low for me therefore I miss some distinct elements of the words. This is a superior study course. Overall I just have to practice more in the future.

Rocket German is a great interactive language program. I am volunteering with German students and marvel at their perfect English! I thought I should learn their language since I have the opportunity to speak and perfect it with native Germans! I like the fact that I have the ability to go over (and over) a certain phrase or sentence until I master it! RocketRecord has been very helpful in getting my pronunciation just right! I looking forward to learning and speaking the native language of my German friends!
