Speaking a language without having some understanding of the culture could be dangerous. Rocket Languages does a good job of letting you know those small but big things about a language and its people. Fun and easy to follow course.

Tried so many chinese language books in the market but can't still seem to grasp the Mandarin language, I have trouble particularly in the confusing tones. I'm just in the first 3 lessons but I can feel the competency of this module as compared to others.

I tried many commercial self-learning languages in the market. But for Chinese, Rocket Chinese has it all! It's on-line, so it is at the same time a light and available from everywhere software. I can practice my Chinese with my work-PC, my personal laptop or my spouse's computer. It's simple perfect! The lessons are well guided and very encouraging when you see the progress you already made. Also, because you can compare you score with other's people score it is also encouraging to see that you are not alone. I love Rocket Chinese, I would never dream that someday I would learn Chinese.

I'm slowly learning basic French, and it's great. Rocket Languages allows me to rewind and rewind (and rewind again!) until I get it right. Then, I practice on my friends who are native French speakers. Rocket Languages actually gives you the terminology that is used by natives, which is why I'm doing better than if I had studied with another program. If you want to take your time and get it right on the first go, I recommend Rocket Languages.

Rocket Chinese makes learning fun. The writing modules are help in learning to recognize and write characters. The addition of the new modules that let me record myself and compare my speech to the ideal is a real help in getting the tones and pronunciation just right.

I have been searching for Rocket Latin American Spanish online for many months as I have listened to Mauricio in the past, many years ago and it is a great way to learn the language of your choice.
I love the fact that the language is in both English and Latin American Spanish from a teacher who is from Chile. A Latin American speaking country, which enables me to get the best from Rocket Spanish. Yet, still understand the language of my choice in both English and Spanish.
