This is a great way of learning a new language.
I am 72 and my schooling in a foreign language was non existent and at last I have found the time to try something completely new during the covid lock-down. Thanks you Rocket Italian; you are brilliant!!

By far my top language learning tool! I've tried most and find the combination of listening, writing and speaking so key. The voice recognition is also of a very higher standard. Highly recommended.

I've had Rocket German German since 2009, and think it's excellent.

Being able to sit on the train, listening to the German *and* English being spoken, often with interesting explanations, it's been really useful.

Excellent value for money, and I have recommended it to other ex-pats who, like me, have moved to Zurich.

Really effective way to learn! I recently purchased this online and after I started learning, I couldn't stop! The German course is really nice and interactive. The interactive audio I was able to download so that when I am on the bus or waiting somewhere, I am able to learn some German. I enjoy the way German is taught using Rocket German, using audio courses unlike some other language teaching programs which uses software. I also really enjoy the games and flash cards that I am able to use to help learn.
Because I travel a lot, I like the mobile app that I can use on my tablet or smartphone.

I chose to try the Rocket Language course (Hindi) because of its lower price in comparison to its competitors and the good reviews that it has received. However, I have had many frustrations in using the course. Things that have been frustrating, include, primarily: inaccuracies in spelling, inaccuracies in grading exercises and waiting for weeks to get responses to e-mails. Because I paid less for this course than many others on the market my disappointment has been moderated somewhat.

Your other languages may merit higher marks, which may be the reason this product gained the better reviews which you reference in your promotional material. I would find it difficult to substantiate their claims based upon the Hindi course alone.

I thought maybe this is a sort of Beta software where you are still trying to work the bugs out. At least that may be the case for the Hindi course. I might have done more to help you with pointing out the errors except your response time for the few times I tried was pitifully slow.

On the positive side: I have made some genuine progress. I do appreciate the improvements that have been made since starting the course.

I have tried them all (Rosetta, Pimsleur, Duolingo) and I must admit that this program does the best job of teaching Italian. The reason is simple -- repetition. As a former teacher, I believe in repetition. Too many programs give you a lesson but do not reinforce it. Rocket does. Another plus is the response to my feedback. If I have a problem, I get a response within a day (two at most). Most programs don't bother to respond at all. Another plus is the detailed lesson given at the beginning of the section. If you really want to learn the "ins" and "outs" of the language, the explanations are there for you. All you have to do is read and absorb. Some programs (I won't mention names) never bother to explain anything; they just expect you to learn on your own. If you wonder why I have only given 4 stars for would I buy again, it is because I am not that young and don't think I'll be trying another language. If I do, it will be Rocket. Oh, one more plus -- the one-time price. Yea!

I wanted to learn how to speak Italian because I was tired of listening to my wife and her family and not knowing exactly what they were saying. Of course they would always tell me what they had said but I always wanted to experience it first hand. I first ordered rosetta stone Italian but I wasn't pleased with their teaching method and returned immediately. I went on You tube to find reviews on a good italian program and came across a review for rocket Italian. The person who gave the review took into account a few courses but praised the rocket program over all of the ones mentioned. I then decided to order on the spot. I have not had the program for a week and have impressed my wife on how well I can read the conversation transcripts. I decided to read (in Italiano) to my father-in-law, who grew up in Italy, and he was extremely impressed with my pronounciation. THIS IS ONLY AFTER ONE WEEK!!! I try to practice every day and have my wife speak to me in italian to keep me sharp. I want to thank Rocket Languages for this opportunity to learn and reach my goal that I have set for myself. With a hungry passion to learn japanese for years I started off using only duo lingo pro. I quickly discovered I was going to need more than Duo if i really wanted to learn Japanese in a year. I downloaded a few more apps and I was burning through them as well, but still discovered I needed more to satisfy my hunger. Why? Because though these apps were good i was constantly questioning grammer and how i was being taught. I searched online and discovered rocketjapanese, but the price made me raise a eyebrow. At first I wasn't even going to try it, but I really wanted to learn japanese so i decided to give it a shot. I used the trial and knew right away this was what I needed. I bought it and have been using it everyday for at least 2-3 hours while still staying up on my duo and other apps if I even still have time. The fact i get to speak, speak with, and be spoke at while learning was beautiful to me. Sounds crazy, but i will actually look at a object and away from the screen on talking parts to make it feel more realistic when practicing. This is great, but i feel like should only be purchased/used by people who truly want to learn the language because though i'm a rookie at speaking japanese even I know consistency is probably the biggest factor into learning. It's worth every penny and you'll see if you decide to get it with all the lessons you'll probably go "wow, this is going to take some time" but it's totally worth it, if you're dedicated and motivated.

This is a wonderful course. I have only been learning for a week , but I can already introduce myself, hold a short conversation, and order a meal. The Rocket Record feature is especially good, and I love that it rates my pronunciation.

I have bought all three stages of rocket Spanish and it´s amazing. It´s so easy to follow, i am definitely learning a lot. One thing i love about American companies like rocket languages is that they really know how to teach: it's idiot proof which i consider a strength and not patronizing at all. One of the problems i faced with language learning is the speaking aspect and rocket languages covers this so well, a lot more than Rosetta Stone that is more expensive and in my opinion not worth it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone; value for money and a lot of content for you to go over AND there is no expiry date. It's so nice to have this account forever and not on some sort of time share. I think that makes this a million times better than Rosetta Stone as i don't feel pressured to learn and can learn at my own pace, which is still fast but without the time pressure. I actually believe i can reach fluency with Rocket's help and now i'm more determined than ever. I am also thinking of learning Chinese and i'm so happy Rocket has a chinese version too. I have aspirations to be a translator and i definitely would recommend Rocket to anyone so is thinking on the same lines. Clarity over complexity: this is the Rocket experience. 100/100
